One thing that I don't understand is why is Sadaf in such a hurry to be with Bilal ? They could have shown her trying to be independent and focusing on her job. In the process their love story could have been properly developed. Currently it feels as if Sadaf must need a man on her life.
Sadaf went through a traumatic divorce. She is emotionally exhausted. Her self-worth and self-confidence is at an all time low and she is subconsciously looking for self validation. She thinks she will be able to erase the past and regain her confidence and self-worth if she undoes her past mistake and marries a good and worthwhile person like Bilal Abdullah. There is also an element there of her wanting to hurt Ammar like he hurt her by hitting him at his biggest insecurity. This is unhealthy trauma response. Many women (and men) who are not able to properly process the trauma of their divorce can exhibit rebound behaviour, thinking that a new love and relationship can fill the emptiness and insecurities in their hearts. A good show would go beyond just this trauma response to also show how she learned that this is not healthy coping behaviour and decided to focus on her own healing and to recalibrate herself before jumping into something new. But I don't think we will get that journey here.
Also you have to understand that this is the Who Will Sadaf Choose track and not a 2nd chance romance track. The makers are trying to set up that Sadaf is at crossroads yet again, mirroring the choice she had to make 20+ episodes ago. Will she cede to pressure from people around her and Ammar's manipulations again and reconcile with Ammar OR will she listen to her own heart this time? Ammar gets so much ss because he is one half of the choice Sadaf has to pick from. Bilal is shown to distance himself because if he was still reciprocating, the choices will have no weight and there won't be any suspense. They r trying to lead up to will Sadaf choose Bilal who she thinks is not that much into her anymore or will she still think Ammar's drinking poison stunt is a manifestation of love. We will see Sadaf choose Bilal because her definition of love will have changed. It won't be about give & take/reciprocity for her anymore (no more khareedna, beechna, boli lagana) but about loving someone whether they love you back or not. She will take a leap of faith and choose Bilal not knowing if he still feels same way about her because that's what her heart tells her. Once Sadaf confesses to Bilal, Bilal will reiterate that he loves her too.
