I agree with this. His character has more to offer than Zaid ever did so I can see why he chose it. But that part of it makes it more baffling that his screen time is so limited. Bilal Abdullah is an interesting character. Honestly it’s very weird to see how little he is in the episodes. I was prepared for equal screen time because I knew this was an ensemble cast. I was hoping for quality over quantity but this is a bit much. He’s in it the least over the course of 10 episodes or so. Nobody in production who were using his name so heavily thought this is weird?Originally posted by: kuhelidebbarma
Yes its more of Sadaf's journey..but I think the main reason for Wahaj signing the drama is because he liked his character and his dialogues..more than anything, after Mein debacle he wanted his character be more impactful despite the less screentime. I am not defending him at all..even I m frustrated to see the only good character of the show to be missing from episodes....but I can understand what he was thinking while signing the show.
Also I cannot believe how long that scene of Ammar waking up was in the latest episode. We see him sleeping, he slowly wakes up, slowly sits up, slowly stands up, slowly walks over to the seating area, checks his phone, walks downstairs, opens every cabinet, gets out a pot, puts water in the pot, turns the stove on, and waits while the camera lingers on his face. That was an entire scene. I get that they were trying to show that he expected Dania to call him but she didn’t. It could have been cut shorter. Meanwhile the airport scene was quick and I wouldn’t have minded if they lingered on that longer. I just don’t understand the thought process of having that long scene but not showing Bilal text Sadaf. Not showing what his reaction was to Sadaf returning to work and taking on the Lahore project. How did Sadaf respond to his text. Seemed like important things being left out. Maybe they’ll address it later

But I dont think she is gonna propose too soon..
