one-sided love works best if it takes place within the confines of an established relationship - jaise friends to lovers trope, office romance / boss-employee trope, marriage of convenience trope, pygmalion trope, etc. Because there is a pre-existing (non-romantic) relationship, we get to see leads interact, see their chemistry and bond even before there is love confession. This helps build audience connect with the couple. One-sided love where there is no interaction or moments between leads are very very hard to pull off.

I agree with you..

Even if we are somehow convinced that a guy like Bilal Abdullah who had many female friends fell in love with a girl at first sight somehow but still we are not able to root for bilal and sadaf because of such a bad characterization of sadaf..what annoys me more is that sadaf is still stuck..her character progression is literally ZERO...one fine day,suddenly she'll realize and will run to Bilal..no redemption nothing will be there.

I understand why Wahaj might have said yes for this show but I don't understand why Maya signed up for this show because even if she is not a brilliant actress but she is a popular actress..her previous roles were very good..it wasn't like Sadaf...this is literally one of Maya's worst character.

Bilal's childhood trauma should have been given importance

This cake scene came in last episode 21 and it’s originally was in 16 th episode( last video clip in above post) so we are behind 5 episodes . If krq has written 29 or 30 episodes it’s going to be 34 or 35 for us

The only way he is relevant to the story atm is because he talks in third person usse alag self importance aa jaati h

In terms of story the big thing he did was bone marrow transfer ,other than that he is just spending money for Sadaf's family and welfare ,just imagine if Zaviaar ko ye bimaari nhi hoti to role kya tha Bilal Abdullah ka? They didn't even focus on his trauma enough

The other characters of pentagon still would have some imp

If you forget the performance and focus on the role in plot then BA is slightly more the new entry of Jafaa for Mawra who will be for her there after failed marriage

I have literally given up on this show man...I dont see any love angle between sadaf bilal because I dont think I can ship sadaf with Bilal anymore..what's the use of watching a show if it gives me trauma more than enjoyment.

They think ke extra episodes honge to x extra views ayenge. But they forgot that by stretching and dragging from e1 just killed the pace of the drama making them lose 10 times the views they'd gain from extra episodes.

Humayun said once that agar KRQ 27 epi likhta hai toh Nadeem Baig 25 episodes mai shoot karke khatam kardeta hai. Or yahan toh hisaab hi ulta hai.
