I think this is what will happen, not saying he is pretending to be in love with her but Zain getting out will be after the elections and she will realise that he doesn't really want justice.

I have been thinking about this whole death trope, where everyone is convinced they are going to kill Mehru off and this kind of made me question, is it really justice if Mehru is killed, yes Shahnawaz will be in pain but what about her mom and Muskaan? Do they have to suffer more? The only real justice is if Zain dies in a car accident after doing some nasha.

Mehru's death is just people overreacting over a short BTS clip and a literal spoof video did by the cast . Seeing how the drama is grabbing attention the makers will most probably go for a happy ending with shanno redeeming himself. If pak dramas can redeem literal murderers and narcissistic psychos, shanno is just a self absorbed rich brat
