Abheera is unfit for being a mother - Page 5

Abheera ke saath galath nahi hua but she's wronged Ruhi by being inconsiderate of Ruhi's emotions. For a person coming out of coma to realise their child is gone and being told to feed someone else child esp their arch rival is pure cruelty. Offering Mathashree title as a consolation is downright insulting and poking Ruhi the wrong way. Most important quality for any human is to be considerate of others emotions. From personal experience moorakh/stupid people with good intentions inflict huge damage than cruel people with sensible behavior. Abheera is insensitive, callous and tries to cross boundaries when she thinks there's greater good, but sadly it's all utopia.

No sane woman abort pregnancy because some doctor said there's complications. I've several of my friends persever through different pregnancy complications also having done a lot of penance through poojas, worshiping gods, visiting temples etc for the fruitful birth of the child. Surprisingly going through one traumatic pregnancy compelled them to go for baby no.2 and value their children even more. It's true that everyone takes trauma & grief differently ..but declaring that this is the end of the world for me if I don't get to be a mother of a baby is totally not done ...while she was pregnant it was OK when she was saying I'll take utmost care of my baby and nothing will go wrong .....but after delivery why would she say main toh Marr hi jaati agar ruhi ki jagah hoti 😵‍💫 just to confuse arman right?

Her reasons to get pregnant was also wrong.. she wanted a baby to soothe vidya.....she also wanted a baby so that Arman can solidify his position in the family (and here we also blame ruhi coz she wanted the same but ruhi becomes a vamp if she says so ) ..why would she tell arman bache ko Bachana mujhe mat bachana ? So she was OK if her baby stayed motherless & he/ she becomes the cause of her death ?that's cruel to the baby .

If she's bringing a new life in this world she's also responsible for it in every way. Sirf paida karna is not enuf . Bacha duniya mei aa gaya mission accomplished! Aisa thodi hota hai

I don't think Ruhi or Abhira are bad or good mothers because both are not mothers at this point.

Both girls are reacting to their family and pressure, the only bad mother we have is Akshara who isolated Abhira, lied and kept her under the dark to an extent that she is going to lengths to have family and approval of familial bonds, otherwise no woman would care for in laws if they had a supportive husband

Ruhi is also reacting to Akshara's stupidity of taking the blame and saying she killed Arohi instead of telling everyone that it was an accident and not putting kids through the hate and trauma, on top of that she blamed Ruhi for Arohi's murder

If there's someone who has caused all this is Akshara

@red when did she say she want to get pregnant to solidify Armaan's position in family? she wanted to get pregnant not to soothe Vidya but to give Armaan his real family. Yes, planning to sacrifice her own life while giving birth and depriving Armaan of the only person who was his real family (herself) was pathetic even if she was made to feel worthless a hundred times during those three months because of supposed infertility. Nothing can justify her lack of self-worth (for me) because she was brought up to love herself.

True, AK is the Jhad or root cause of this entire mess, I never thought a legacy name and character will be butchered like this. Coming to Ruhi and Abheera my gripe is with Abheera trying to force change everything in the name of bettering things. But point to note emotions take time to heal and giving personal space is such an important part of healing process. I pity Ruhi is being deprived of that when we can enlist MahaKhaands caused by AK wreacked havoc in a little girls life due to direct or indirect contribution of AK.

I don't think she is wrong in continuing complicated pregnancy, that is her choice though it is not praiseworthy.

I would say she is not yet mature to become mother. She sees her kid as a means to make her vile mother in law happy. Motherhood is a journey. I can't say abhira is bad mother or good mother. She is learning. Same way ruhi despite not being good human being can't be termed as bad mother. Because she still didn't get the chance to show her motherhood.

A person can be bad to everyone but can still love her child. Good human being doesn't necessarily mean good mother and vice versa.

I neither endorse nor support her reason for pregnancy but I'm definitely against aborting a child only due to some perceived complications. Having said that a fetus diagnosed to be having a genetic or life threatening condition should be aborted but IMO life begins in a mothers womb and the minute a mother conceives a new life has begun.

Coming to choosing baby over mother is a natural reaction for any mother to feel it that way I guess. On a lighter note I said something similar while pregnant my DH said I'm talking rubbish due to lethal cocktail of TV overdose syndrome and pregnancy hormones.
