JN is a mega blockbuster in terms of YT views but in terms of TRPs, it did just ok (hit category at best). Average TRP is 7.8 and episode-wise TRP crossed into double-digits just 4 times (and never exceeded 11). Part of this is due to the competition in Fri and to some extent Sat slots. You can see that when Jafa was competitive, JN's Fri TRPs were the lowest as JN had competition from both ARY and Hum. Sat was mainly ARY competition so TRPs were higher than Sat. Sun had highest TRPs among the 3 days because only competitor was Hum. Once NJ ended and/or Jafa TRP started to fall, you can see JN start to get better TRP on Fridays as well, even though overall content quality of JN dipped.
Geo right now is in flop era and its in the most competitive slot. So, considering that average trp of 7.8 is not bad. None of geo shows are leading prime time right now bar JN. I also remember one two times Jafaa too performed better than JN. Part of the reason for average rating is storyline is not good. Deewangi was blockbuster because it had good storyline.Its only because of actors people are watching JN. Replace Hiba and Danish from the show and then no one would have watched it. It wouldn't have got either ratings or views and would have been flop like Beyhadh
Looks like everything goes to Geo. This is quite sad. Production and actors should definitely get a hissa
