I think MG was considerate towards Armaan during engagement, Abhira told MG why she thinks Armaan is perfect for her, after that MG was shown going soft towards Armaan, she told MG she knows Armaan had made lot of mistakes but he has learnt from the said mistakes, whatever is the case MG doesn’t stay with Armaan or had spent time with Armaan to know him really, he has seen Armaan from Ruhi’s eyes or the circumstances, that day he saw Armaan from Abhiras pov.

Regarding blaming Armaan, he will be blaming himself 1st coz he did not spoke to Akshara, while she was in death bed, he remembers Akshara wanted to tell about her daughter but kya, he dint heard.
