Doesn't matter how much you love your family or your heart would break to leave them but if they are super toxic and there's no chance of change in future then there is no other way except leaving them and building your life somewhere better.

And till now Armaan was deliberately ignoring toxic side of his family as he could not live alone but now he has Abhira that's why he got courageous.

Abhira's concerns are also valid because the Armaan she witnessed till now cannot stay away from his family at all. She may be thinking Armaan is behaving like this in the heat of the moment and after some days he'll start missing his family and may consider her at fault. But she should first think which type of family they are and if they are even worthy of Armaan and how much he was suffering from inside there.

And, just like Dadisa will not hate Ruhi even after all her bad deeds, she'll not love Abhira even after all her good deeds.

Also, when Dadisa was unable to love Armaan even after so many years what can change now.

Now after so many years of watching these destructive Goenkas, Kartik's hate for his parents and living alone seems so right and valid. If only Naira was samajhdaar, they could be living happily with their children in their sweet world.

And unfortunately Abhira may repeat her Nani's mistake.

Well that's the hope.. Armaan didn't reach this by thinking alone though.. he needed to be told by Rohit in as many words.. Abhira has heard now from enough people and even today from Vidya that KP is not going to agree..
