A marriage & a divorce need two just witnesses only. But the marriage should be deemed invalid as they are doing a planned halala.

Isn't it two witness from each side. And if you count Shabbirs mom, she would be just half a witness.

So, overall the marriage is not valid in any circumstance

A total of two witnesses suffice. A marriage requires permission from the wali, two just witnesses & mehr to be valid.

There is no iddah after third divorce, really?

I was very confused if Alia was nikah-fied to Ibrahim after iddah or no?

If there was no iddah, will the marriage be valid even if both accept it?

I meant as in they is no waiting period for them to reconcile so after the 3rd divorce he is considered a stranger.

She would have to perform Iddah to get married to another man of approx 3 months.

im not sure about the validity of the marriage if she didn’t perform iddah. I wonder if they would bring this up in the drama.

Forced marriage and planned halala makes the marriage invalid. However if they both agree to this marriage, Would that change to valid marriage without doing it again? Ignoring the witness part

They just have to repent & accept the marriage. They don’t need to re do it. However there’s a scene probably from their maayun or mehandi in trailers. They are probably going to get married again.

I think they did iddat. But only time will tell.

Also 4 witness are not required. We discussed all this in the previous pages.

Also bcz they agreed and said yes, Nikah is valid. Ibrahim says I thought of going away but I didn't and just agreed for the maulvi. He was coerced but he agreed eventually.

The marriage is still not valid as per Islam. But as they were forced to do it, after their acceptance it will become valid.

So is the nikah still valid even if she didn't observe iddah of 3 months (but only1 month)? I know there is no iddah if the divorce happened before marriage was consummated. But if marriage is consummated, is observing the 3-month iddah mandatory?

Nope! The marriage will still be valid even if the Halala is planned. Halala is the gravest sin. Makru e tehreemi. But marriage will still be valid as per Ahle Sunna Hanafi.

Yes. After three talaq. It is mandatory to have 3 periods of iddat. In widow's case 4 months or so.
