It went downhill after episode 10 and the funny thing is before ep 10 it didn't used to get high ratings.

Or sometimes, even if they produce good content, they fail in the execution part and ruin with unnecessary dragging and adding illogical plotlines.

Even typical or simple stories can be entertaining if it is well made and executed. It is not the story but rather how you tell it that matters imo..

It is also a sad trend that majority of audience settle for shows that doesn't require too much thinking and have the "masala" element. Popularity and quality rarely go hand in hand. Parizad is most probably the only exception I can think of in recent times..

I don't watch a lot of english series but used to watch lots of animes, mostly produced by Japan. And the content they produce are far far more creative, even to the point that even hollywood are not able produce proper adaptation.

Also people there also watch creative stuffs unlike here where similar show is given preference. The writers there are underpaid still they produce masterpiece.

I have heard good things about their animes too..personally I like watching human faces so I could never get into them. ptv has like 7 stories that they keep recycling and very limited genre wise as well as lack of good writers, producers...they have a bunch of decent actors but their talent is a waste in this limited industry...

I understand. I used to be the only one in class to watch animes. Now though I see most of the young generation watch them.

Like Berserk is a mastepice. There the story is gory, the hero kills, murders and literally does every bad thing but his character is written in such a way that you will feel sorry for him and he is just so lovable. I can never see its adaptation happening even hollywood won't be able to.Also the writer used to take inspiration hindu, western mythologies. Pak writers are never that creative and not do that much of hardwork. Though I would also add that the writer was so much into perfection that he died due to overwork. I would never sponser that much of work.

Also they have different genre, like for romance, for adult drama, fantasy, also some slice of life anime like 3 gatsu no lion also shows so well how a depressed person feels, how bullying actually looks. I don't see anything on pak drama. Even if they somehow bring the topic they will find a way to mess it up.

I though pinjra would show how strict parents influences children psycology and they messed up, pyaari mona was supposed to be something about fat shaming but it become something of romance that to with toxic guy who never respected the girl. I have been time and again disappointed by pak dramas.

If this continues, I am afraid, ptv will have the same fate as itv and people will shift to other content, there is plenty available these days and only the non-thinking audience will be left behind to watch the same regurgitated content...

I don't mind even a typical story like KMKT as long as it's well executed but still there should be variation...my window for getting bored is quite narrow and I am sure it is the same for many of the audience too...

Yeah. I used to recommend pak dramas some 6-7 years ago but the quality has gone so bad that I just don't even feel recommending them nowadays.

I also don't mind typical stories as long as they don't bring toxic content and entertaining. I don't mind mindless entertainment.

I finally got the time to watch all three episodes of KMKT. Though the story is predictable, I loved every episode. I'm particularly impressed with how understanding and sensible both sets of parents are. Adeel's father's decision to throw him out for ruining a girl's life was commendable, despite the difficulties it would bring to their family. Sharjeena's dad, who views his daughters as his honor and stated "mere betiyan mere liye bojh nahi," was heartwarming.

Regarding the main characters, I was initially skeptical about the leads, especially Fahad as Mustafa. However, he never came across as old or out of place as some people suggested. His role and look remind me of Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy, and I'm loving his swag and style. He's performing his role very well. Hania's character may not be unique, but her portrayal and look is realistic for a middle-class girl. She dresses and behaves appropriately for her character, contrary to few expectations here of her looking like a model from a Lux ad.

I also appreciated that Sharjeena acknowledged how she ignored the red flags with Adeel due to her idealized image of a perfect partner. I'm glad she realized it.

The show is engaging so far, and I'm loving all the characters. I'm eagerly waiting for the next episode.

The only parent I can get behind right now is Adeel’s dad. At least he did something - not sure if throwing Adeel out was the right call but kuch kiya tou sahi to the man actually responsible - although him forcing Adeel to marry Sharjeena despite knowing he likes someone else was not wise either. Adeel’s mom is too broken and quiet about her son’s departure so I feel her villain days are near smiley36 As for Sharjeena’s parents I just felt bad for the girl. Nobody gave her any tassali and she was the one being strong for everyone because literally people were breaking down right in front of her as if this was the end of the world and she didn’t just escape the worst fate possible. The dad was saying nice things but he didn’t even comfort his daughter and the mom was just completely numb and narrating the whole character pe daag nonsense. So me personally? Not feeling the parents yet. They seem bad news to me.

Sharjeena reflecting on the red flags was good though and her frustration at not breaking up with him first. Sahi frustration thi woh and I’m glad they included it. She wasn’t feeling sorry for herself.

Also yes please keep the extra lashes and cakey foundation and lip overlining away from her. So many people overdoing it these days. Hania is looking like a million bucks with her minimal makeup and natural skin. Young, fresh and beautiful - kuch out of place nahi lag raha ❤️

Definitely hook points are there in the story - nothing new but I wanna see this version of it smiley41 I am expecting intelligent reviews from this page:

I’m on the fence about the proposal. I get the impulsivity of it from her side but she’s basing this on one single conversation with the guy smiley36 Also definitely not fair to spring something this big on him and make him pay such a lifelong price for the 2 sentences he said to her lol. Magar maza aye ga ab for sure smiley2
