This I don’t feel is massy. Itna guilty pleasure type stuff nahi hai. But typical story regardless. It’s all gonna come down to execution and I think Fahad was probably controlling over all aspects of this show. At least things like bad lighting bad angles that we associate with Badar won’t be an issue. I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s been free of that so far

Demand toh nhi hai. Yeah aisy shows ki audience zaida hai but aisa nhi hai ky sensible aur logical dramas hit nhi hoty. I don't get why makers put whole blame on audience. Audience ko acha content dein gaye toh audience dekhy gi.

audience wants entertainment. if a smart sensible show entertains them, they will watch it. if a stupid low-gic-less show gives them entertainment, they will watch it too. people want to watch something that either transports them somewhere, or stories they resonate with, or cktrs that they connect with at a visceral level. whoever provides that - whether it is a good show or a bad show - most viewers will go for that. people who made tere bin a hit also made parizaad and udari a hit. watching TV is not social work. no one wants to watch "good" stuff even if it's boring or doesn't hookyou out of some moral obligation or to tick off a checklist. give people sensible, well-made entertainment, you bet they will lap it up. you can't give sensible and well-made and leave out the entertainment and still expect people to watch in droves.

Yeah people want entertainment. Jahan unhy entertainment miley gi uss show ko woh rating dein gaye. But there is a difference between a hit project and a good project. Every hit project can't be a good project too. Like fahad mustafa made drama Nand Which was tooo bad still it got popular.

I feel what ptv severly lacks is in the creativity department...they either copy or recycle the same type of stories that were preveiously hit and a sect of audience laps it up like they are some standard setting, ground breaking stuff. Or sometimes, even if they produce good content, they fail in the execution part and ruin with unnecessary dragging and adding illogical plotlines.

Even typical or simple stories can be entertaining if it is well made and executed. It is not the story but rather how you tell it that matters imo..

It is also a sad trend that majority of audience settle for shows that doesn't require too much thinking and have the "masala" element. Popularity and quality rarely go hand in hand. Parizad is most probably the only exception I can think of in recent times..

Parizad wasn't even that good..it was good at the start but then it got too repetitive and unrealistic..
