TB affected every show. Every other shows hype was nil in comparison during those days. But considering everything Yunhi did decent. KA which had triple star power wasn’t that far off in numbers. And still Yunhi had a loyal following and many critics did praise the drama a lot. Did as well as any other show in the shadow of TB.

Maya has also given a lot of hit pairings for PTV too. And worked well in the past with Haseeb. It’s a winning combo.

All of them are superb performers in the cast but Maya has definitely had the more solid longstanding multi platform career and 7th sky has invested in her for a reason. All they care about is $$$ - reason they’ve given Neelam shows back to back so she could give them hits, have already signed Yumna for TB 2 and so on. Whatever analyzing we are doing right now, 7th sky walay saaray stats dekh chukay hoon ge before signing every single cast member 🤣

Dunno about trps and views but SMD is a blockbuster on social media for sure . Even Reddit has topics on SMD and Wahaj-Maya everyday.

This is a literally thing in tv/film industries be it in India or US. In the US media and entertainment industry, it's called the Q score. In BW, you get weekly Ormax list of popular stars. These metrics feed into determining pay scale, brand equity, advertiser demand. There are specialist firms that do this market research, tracking and measurement. These metrics are updated on a regular basis as they are not constant. I remember article in Variety saying how Will Smith's Q score crashed after the slap incident. Basically, my point is what you are thinking of as a joke is a standard practice in various media and entertainment industries. You study this stuff in university too. And since this is a sub where we discuss Pak entertainment industry, having this discussion is part and parcel of industry discussion. In BWF, discussions on Ormax list was normal.

Yes MPHT was a hit rating wise but it didn't had huge online popularity unlike tere bin and BRKRJ
