He is wearing the ring also. So maybe he felt the separation anxiety. See it was easy to talk about Jhanak leaving for Kashmir and him booking tickets etc. But it’s going to hit him hard once she actually leaves in front of him. He is probably not able to take it.

100%  This is just the beginning and I guess makers are organizing these mini separation to form that fear of losing someone you truly love. 

I just hope the makers deal with this track sophisticatedly. I am counting on them.
