As for the rest, I agree, the scene looked like last minute addition and made no sense, ofcourse badly shot and edited.

I feel the same Prema, she could have chosen Arasi's role instead. There is no way we are expecting any romance scenes with Arasi and her future hubby.

It looks to me like they don't know what direction to take the writing in. They first started projecting Pandian somewhat like Nazar in Emdan Magan movie, but have since then created this very confusing arc for him - he sometimes seems to be like Pandian from Season 1, very affectionate towards his sons and their wives and then suddenly the writers remember that Pandian is actually supposed to be angry about their love marriages and insert some dialogues to that effect.

And the snail's pace at which this is moving - habba - it's like if a real wedding reception takes place for 4 hours, it seems like they do 4 hours worth of episodes with just the wedding reception in this serial also! What is the need in a serial to show random people coming and taking pictures with the couple as if it is a real wedding reception?!

Yesterday's episode, with that camera click sound - it was so irritating and overdone - I had to mute it.

Same complaint from the first. No consistency in character building. It's really irritating. Like they want to run with something new but then suddenly insert something that is "over-used" to relate to the Vijay TV audience.

@bold 100% true. It's not even interesting or exciting. Such dull characters and overuse of Meena.

Problem is the girl. Few weeks back, I visited her insta profile and I realized that she is just too young, already married and hence the massive hesitation/discomfort and by default, Akash is hesitant as well. I was all the more shocked when I saw that she just passed out of college three years ago.

She also got married 3 years ago.

Chinna ponnu than, that's why she is made to dance at Saravana's wedding and run here and there to do invisible chores.

Also, remember her voice changed for 2-3 episodes, and we all wanted her previous voice back. I read somewhere that she tried with her original voice which we the audience said "ewww sisterrrr" and made the channel revert back to the dubbing artist.

I am sure the girl graduated from college in 2020, 4 years ago and I also heard she completed her engineering. If she was 21 at that time and its been 3 1/2 -4 years since her marriage, she is probably 25 years now. I still don’t know understand the hesitation🙄🙄🙄 Looks like she chose the wrong field or if she thinks this is the right field, like Cosmo-girl said she should have chosen either Arasi character or even Kuzhali

Naa.. her post said college farewell 2021 and her 4 years marriage anniversary post was there as well.

You see, all of a sudden, I had decided to go through these PS actors profiles and so I spent a whole 10 minutes going through this girl's profile that day. All I wanted was to kill some time and divert my mind from an upcoming presentation that was frustrating me big time. And guess what, after going through her profile, I ended up spending the next 15 minutes wondering what the hell was I doing at that age! and that was all the more frustrating!

Everything aside, she does not seem to be a lot interested in this acting field and only treats the profession as a quick source of side income and instant fame. Which is fine, since she seems to be pretty sorted and settled. Her motive is only dancing and promoting her husband's dance studio. Anyway to each, his/her own. 🤷‍♀️

Anu, I told ya. You can sense the hesitation. And it interferes with the chemistry. I have watched Aakash's short movies, he is good with physical chemistry. I understand Shalini's situation, but that is how acting is. If you cannot give your 100%, then you should pick up roles that you are comfortable with instead of picking a popular role and just working 50% on it.

I'm like now I can't even expect close scenes between these both.

This is why as an audience I prefer single actresses for such roles.

@bold - Same here. Single actresses are far more suitable for such roles. But then, it is also sad that actresses are compelled to restrict themselves in this line of work after marriage.

I mean, South is nowhere close enough when compared to what happens oncreen in Hindi shows. Still, the insecurity and fear of backlash by married actresses is so visible here!

I think its because of Shalini. PS2 family came on Andakasam show. One part they were all joking and Akash pretended to be angry for them bullying Shalini and Makapa mentioned that her husband is getting angry. For that Shalini mentioned that he is fake husband and her real husband is sitting on the set. Even when she walked in she mentioned that she is taken. She is constantly reminding that she is married and has her husband and that maybe making Akash uneasy. I wonder how will they be shooting for close proximity parts once Kathir and Raji starts becoming close

Then what I said was right Akash is indeed scared of doing close scenes. Shalini avana bayangarama bayamuruthi vachirukka by bringing her “ real husband” to the sets

If she gives out this much information about her private life, and takes offense to silly jokes in a reality show about her onscreen pairing with Akash, how the heck audience will be able to relate to her or even accept her. I have never seen her promote KR edits in her IG stories. Akash used to but he too stopped doing it especially after his new show in Sun Tv finally started,
