Not watching the episodes for the past 2 days as I am not interested in fraud marriage, people cheating others to secure their lives and for showing the members of Pandian family as the dumbest idiots of the first order. Didn’t expect such poorly written characters to prop up one character and her family. I see they are copying Rohini of SA and trying to replicate the same here with TM. Not interested in this kind of crapfest

Same here, taking break from the show till this marriage track is done with. The writers are trying their level best to subdue KR story by cutting down their screentime and showing them dumb as well. Afterall, the makers cannot afford to have another KM in this show. That will aggravate many others. So, I am most likely to give up.

But my fingers are itching to write something on KR.

Really irritating episode when they were showing multiple close up shots of all the peN azhaippu family members, once upside down, once zoomed in and zoomed out... so annoying.

What in bloody hell is happening in this show?

The only reason I watched S1 was because it was an original work, not one of the bloody remakes plaguing Vijay TV. S1 was really good despite its few crazy arcs, was never extreme or idiotic, and did not make the audience fools for watching it. This is what I expected from S2. but now it is just like any other stupid serial on Vijay TV.

KM was the USP of S1, and the audience was fooled into thinking KR is the USP of S2. I was interested because this seemed like a show about a backward Indian father who progresses and accepts modern thinking but instead, it is filled with regressive speech, actions, fraud, bias, stupidity, partiality, and whatnot.

They could have shown the TM family as not well-to-do but sincere people who want to get their daughter married and just fibbed they had money, and now struggling to arrange money through legal means (bank loan, borrowing from relatives, selling land), and Pandian family getting to know about this, and deciding those good people are more important than money.

They showed the Vel brothers having real love for Gomathi despite their anger at her elopement (pooja for her birthday at the temple, looking at her with affection), but now they have become really bad people who can even go to the extent of ruining livelihoods or killing someone (own daughter).

I won't even mention the Tashildar and teacher because you expect a teacher to be better and you know that Janardhan will be a bad character.

All I see are pathetic ideas, stories, dialogues, and scenes. After the fame of S1, you'll expect a better S2 but this is as bad as other serials. Instead of hiring writers who are inspired by good books, novels, and modern trends, they have writers who are inspired by other crappy serials in the same channel.

I have decided to stop watching this crapfest. I cannot with this TM family and wedding.

Last scene today is a must-watch, you guys - KR posing for their picture and smiling was too cute. Senthil and Meena looked great during the reception too.

It looks to me like they don't know what direction to take the writing in. They first started projecting Pandian somewhat like Nazar in Emdan Magan movie, but have since then created this very confusing arc for him - he sometimes seems to be like Pandian from Season 1, very affectionate towards his sons and their wives and then suddenly the writers remember that Pandian is actually supposed to be angry about their love marriages and insert some dialogues to that effect.

And the snail's pace at which this is moving - habba - it's like if a real wedding reception takes place for 4 hours, it seems like they do 4 hours worth of episodes with just the wedding reception in this serial also! What is the need in a serial to show random people coming and taking pictures with the couple as if it is a real wedding reception?!

Yesterday's episode, with that camera click sound - it was so irritating and overdone - I had to mute it.

After reading this post, checked out yesterday’s episode, skipped most of it and went to the last scene, paravilla KR kitta nalla improvement thaan

So out of curiosity watched today’s episode, Kathir for the first tome called Raji by her name, brought her juice as she was busy doing all the work for the marriage it was nice to see his concern for her more than this parents, annan, anni. Aana idhulalayum Meenava nuzhaichittangale Meena has to witness everything that happens between these 2, it sounds wrong in so many levels but it is what it is

BTW, indha vaati Arasiya kazhati vittangale enga aalaye kaanom looks like the production house can only afford either Kuzhali or Arasi at a time
I completely tuned out with the rest of the episode. Also Meena is going overboard with this photo session and mock reception/wedding for herself No wonder Bhagyam is getting irritated with her.

Saw yesterday's last few minutes and today's first half just now. Full on clickbait description and thumbnail in HS.

But their scenes today did not make sense to me AT ALL. Its the same old last minute inserted one coz makers suddenly remembered that there are characters called Kathir-Raji. It was randomly shot, totally misplaced and bogus editing done by the team. Raji doing all the work looked so unrealistic. If they want to show her doing all the work, atleast it could be shot realistically. Lol, she was just walking here and there. Mokkaiya irundhichu!Why this hurry with KR scenes??

And the subtlety is just thrown out of the window for KR. I know this Kathir is very open in his views and actions, but can't there be some subtlety in the way he helps her? He just comes out of the blue and holds the paper cup to her face insisting her to have it. Also, couldn't they have prolonged the conversation about how happy Saravanan looked? That may be a boring convo for us viewers, but they seriouslyy need deep conversations! Atleast start with him recalling memories with his brothers, share some stories with her?

I always keep comparing this season with S1, but that one was so good in execution (almost 90% of the time) and this one suckss big time already. When are we going to see Raji in awe of Kathir the way Mullai used to be when Kathir speaks/explains things? Time and again, she used to say, "ivaha ippudi laam pesuvahala? Ippudi laam yosipahala?" I personally used to love it that Kathir of PS1 had so much clarity about many things despite being underqualified and insecure. This Kathir too has that clarity and voices it so well, but Raji has no reaction at all! Where are the mind voices in this show?? Those mind voices in PS1 were like the best part of KM story. For that matter, even JM story and all the characters, in fact. This one cannot even manage to give MVs where needed, coz of the additional time required for dubbing by the actors and voice artists. Only Palani gets to have MVs.

Ok, enough of my rant.. All in all, today was not good for me. It is fine that Kathir is concerned for Raji, but execution is PATHETIC and actual story for them is still not clear for the makers themselves.

PS.:- about the photoshoot scene, while I did like it a lot, I am not able to point out if it is the characters or the actors inhibitions in not being able to stand a little close when facing each other. There is literally a one arm distance between them. And look at Hema/Vasanth or even Saranya/actor playing Saravanan.. they have so much more closely sitting/standing scenes. Enna sollaradhu ne theriyale! 🤷‍♀️

See Akash’s new show in Sun TV, he is totally different guy there, There he is acting in very close scebes with the female lead and the guy is full on promotion spree pf his new show in his Insta but never posts KR scene edits except KR based promos that comes once in a while,

As for the rest, I agree, the scene looked like last minute addition and made no sense, ofcourse badly shot and edited.

Sodhappalo sodhappal by Komaru's kidnappers...... I think the wedding will go ahead since Mayilu is safe and sound.
