Surya should have been more majboor coz the family adopted an abandoned child so the ehsaan was ten fold but boy still speaks his heart out. Not once he was disrespectful to his family. He expressed his disappointment and feelings but did not insult his family.

That's why I was hoping we'd have more time to witness him fall deeply in love with Imlie.

At this moment, it feels like we're transitioning from duty and responsibility to love at breakneck speed, almost like breaking the sound barrier.

The most significant time Imlie and he spent together was those few hours in Banaras. They've taken bullets for one another, yet they barely had the chance to truly get to know each other as individuals.

Agastya's bond with the Chaudharys was crafted and developed with a stronger foundation. In contrast, Surya didn't even realize he had a family when he first came to Purvaya.

There were a few moments with Tayyi that hinted at a motherly connection, but it couldn’t match the depth of compassion that Dadi’s comforting presence brought. The dynamic between Alka and Agastya was also far more intriguing and multifaceted compared to the relationship between Surya and Nirmala.

I'm relieved that Surya isn't swayed by this imitation of a family to abandon his determination to stand up for Imlie.

Comparing the chaudhry’s and reddy’s are like comparing apples to oranges. Imlie was emotionally invested with the Chaudhary family from day1 where as she is not here. From day1 from the sindoor episode, she has clearly shown her reluctance to this marriage and tayi Amma clearly sees her non-investment in this marriage to surya. With Agastya and Chaudhry, she did so much for them, wanted to be a part of their family , was fully invested in her marriage .. here nothing.

Reddy’s have been no less pushing imlie with their bakwaas Neither has imlie shown any interest in wanting to be a part of the reddy family nor have the reddy’s accepted her. It’s clearly a case of no love lost here. The two situations are as different as chalk and cheese.!

I agree with you here to some extent. The Reddy family can see Imlie still in love with her previous husband and her non commitment to her marriage to Surya. I can see where their concern lies. But they are hypocrites too, ek taraf you don’t acknowledge her as your bahu from Day 1 and doosri taraf all your restrictions apply to her as a member of the family.

Reddy’s ko kya hi bolna when Chaudhary family has time n again mistrusted her n threw her out of the house too. All this when Imlie literally fulfilled all the duties as the DIL of the house.

Yeh reddys ki jarurat nahi thi. Imlie should have moved away to city for further studies and there she would have met Surya who was a rough and tough cop but loner. Imlie getting into multiple troubles and he saving her .

Kashish, we are bound to feel the difference. We have seen the journey of Agasthya and Imlie. They both were very expressive of their feelings be it anger, happiness, sorrow, complaints, realisation of love. It was a beautiful story of their first innocent love.

Here, Surya isn’t an emotional person. His feelings are well guarded from everyone around. He doesn’t really express anything other than his anger.

Plus Imlie is no where in the relationship. Her commitment level is not even 1% of what she had with the Chaudharys. She happily lived even as a maid and served Chaudharys. But she was reluctant to do the pehli rasoi in Reddy house.

The vibes of the Reddy family doesn’t help either.

I think the moment the truth of Raghu was out before him is when all his misunderstandings ended. He started seeing the real Imlie. The goodness of her heart, her strength of character, her determination and hope towards life. In between he was definitely stopped due to her being in love with his twin and their circumstances. Warna toh Surya ko kaise Imlie se pyar nahi hota. Is shakal ke saare logon ko Imlie se pyar hota hai

The writers wasted time in the Raghu track instead of working on the family dynamics. Their restrictions on women working or studying make no sense. The fam is sketched badly, they kill the mood.
