More than anything, I feel sad for Sai and Addy. They are the only ones who have shot this show from Day1 of Season 3. They both are extremely talented who lived the roles of ASC/ SPR and Imlie. The show would not have been half as good if not for them. From all the BTS we saw, it was clear that both of them have put in insane amounts of efforts for the show - be it shooting outdoors on sunny days, action sequences or the harness ones. It did not feel like a typical TV show coz of these scenes.
As a fan of Sai, I always wished to see him in a project where he can showcase his talent and improve his craft. What better than to do a Gul project coz I knew he suits her template AYM characters. Glad that she was persistent to take Sai onboard despite him rejecting 3 other offers from her. After seeing how brilliantly Sai portrayed the character of Agastya and now Surya, I know he will have offers hit his inbox before the show even goes off air. I hope he is wise to chose his next project, something he and his fans can be proud of. The way ITV writes MLs now-a-days, it scares me and I know Sai will not like portraying such characters. But for sure, he will hit my screens soon (and hopefully with the one I want).
Addy ka bhi no tension, girl is insanely talented. She will get new projects soon as well. I hope to see them take a good break and enjoy some time with their respective friends and family (clarify karna better hai :P).
A big shout out to the technical team of Imlie - the director, the DOP, the background music and OST, editors. Gul is known for the aesthetics of the shots and this show served. There is a lot of recall value to this show and I will go back to watch the Agastya-Imlie love story after the show ends. Very few shows hold you in a spell due to the nostalgia factor. This show and the use of old songs was something unique and something that connected me more with the show. I wish we got more of the wattpad trope - rich illegitimate businessman and bar signer but sigh.....
Having said the above, I know we all knew this was coming but it hurts. It had become a habit to come to the forum since the past 8 months and it is very upsetting to know we have handful of episodes left. The writers better not disappoint and give us our leads ke scenes only. We deserve a decent closure, please. We have faced a lot of DDP and still stuck by the show.
I wish Gul learns her lesson with this, not to ever ruin an on-going love story when the actor is not quitting. SP will learn a lesson when the next show will not be able to match against Tarak. They need to lose the slot leadership too. It always takes a long time for a new show to build an audience base and get loyal following. If 6.30pm slot can be taken as an example, 2.5 yrs later also SP never got that slot back. 8.30 ke saath bhi wohi hoga.
To everyone who made this AT so lively and vibrant and one of the most positive place to be, a big thank you. I think back specially all those difficult days when we all collectively mourned Agastya's death or the realization that they aren't bringing him back. A lot of us were able to stick by because we gave each other hope, when one was sad or down, someone else saw the positive side of things. We did complement each other brilliantly.
Like I said, we can do chit chats in the CC thread even after the show ends (I know it wont be the same but kya kar sakte hai). But also if Sai comes again in another show and the concept is something we all like, we will meet in his AT in another forum.
