Saravanan is acting as if he is talking to an outside girl for the first time, its as if writers forgot about his past love story. That acting coy, becoming speechless is all too much to handle. Even Thangamayil acted the same way and both were lying to each other through their teeth. On top of lying their conversation was cringeworthy🙄
Pandian and Gonathi’s restless because Saravanan and Mayil took a long time to come out after their private conversation which is in closed doors
. Infact they sent Kuzhali to get Saravanan and Mayil back.
Kuzhali’s character 🤮 - nitpicking, poking her nose in everyone’s business. Meena dies the same, but decently here Kuzhali straight on the face.
Meena’s running commentary throughout the whole scene, her 2 cents in every matter, even on the elaborate explanations Mayil’s mom Bhagyam gave when she was bombarded with questions from Kuzhali. Gomathi asking Meena everything as if Raji and Arasi don’t exist at all
The writers have established Pandian as the ML, controls everyone except Kathir and Meena as the FL who kniws everything while others are just dummy pieces.
Finally Saravanan and Thangamayil (with tons of hesitation as her parents indirectly for ed her) agreed to the marriage. Next week probably they will show New jodi’s engagement followed by marriage. We will have to wait and watch how Shaktivel (Gomathi’s middle brother) breaks this alliance too.
Also Akash who is acting as Kathir, is going to act in a new Sun TV serial Anamika as one of the ML. Looks like we will have less of Kathir and KR scenes as he has to shuttle between both the shoots. KR story has not even started yet, already ML is not going to be there much. They will probably shoot a lot with his Body Double while showing just his close-ups, I am surprised how he is able to act for 2 different channel shows at the same time, won’t it be a conflict of interest. If KR scenes don’t progress much, they don’t show them enough, I might lose interest in the show as I am not willing to put up with Pandian, Gomathi, plebty of Meena, spineless Senthil and Saravanan and lying queen Thangamayil🙄
It indeed was boring. Usually, a new character, especially a long-term romantic partner entry, will be fun and interesting. But this is boring.
Saravana is dumb. That cafe girl would have been better for him if only he was smart enough to lie as he did with Thangamayil. Anubhavikatum for showing blind loyalty to his parents. Mayil is irritating too. But seeing how she was upset with her mother lying, I'm hoping she is not a selfish or evil character, just for Saravana's sake. But she needs to teach Pandian-Gomathi a lesson. I expect she will be the type to ask for an inheritance, and Saravana a simp, might agree with her. Senthil won't even ask for a salary, and Meena is the good type of DIL. Kathir-Raji are self-sufficient and good. So, Kuzhali and Mayil fighting for family inheritance looks likely. 
You are right about Kuzhali, even I thought the inquisitive Qs she asks is what is truly needed, but she is icky and irritating. I don't know whether it is the acting or the voice, it's grating to listen to her.
I had the same problem with S1 where the men used to sit on that economical sofa set, and the women, even while pregnant used to sit on the floor or stand. Here, the groom's family is visiting for the first time, couldn't they forcefully loot more chairs so that all can sit? And why is Raji bundled between Arasi and Meena? Arasi can stand behind her mum, Meena can stand behind Senthil, and Raji should stand behind Kathir. Can we expect a scene where Kathir notices these standing for a long time, and tells Senthil to go sightseeing the house so that girls can sit? Rombo edhurpaakren ille?
That SUN TV serial was introduced last year, during 1st half. The main lead is another guy. Interestingly, both male and female leads are Kannadigas, having acted in Kannada serials before. I'm guessing Akash is like ex-BF or something, so flashback scenes or fewer scenes. But then it is a horror show, so maybe he is the ex-BF ghost. 
I'm watching S1 just for Kathir-Raji, without him, what serial will this be? 
The way Saravanan is getting all coy and flustered, makes me want to throw up. This is the same guy who once loved someone else and although, I don't expect him to keep moping around in sorrow or anything, it would be more believable if he had some "keeping distance/slightly hesitant" attitude.
