I got home late today but finally managed to watch the episode, and not gonna lie some tears slipped out.
Sai and Adrija are such wonderful performers to watch. I couldn’t relate or empathize with Surya as I felt he kind of forced himself into this situation by being a bad cop. But Sai has this beautiful way of portraying a character’s anguish and dismay, you can feel it in his every movement. I loved it with Agastya and it was nice to see Surya finally have some human reactions. His constant apathy made it hard to connect with him, it’s good that they’re making his motivation more clear and based on emotions.
The banter was actually nice today, I like how she said she’s not an empty cylinder when he picked her up and he replied that he could pick up a full one if he wanted. Sai really picked up Adrija so effortlessly and Imlie’s attempt to run away was lowkey funny because he caught up to her so fast. I enjoyed the vibe, it had a tinge of the older days. There’s more and more parallel with Agastya and Imlie’s story, they’re not letting us move on from him. Which I don’t mind, because I don’t intend on doing so either lol.
No matter how good of heart Imlie is and how easily she can sympathize with others even Surya. I’m glad that they showed her not wanting to drink water from Surya’s hands, maybe she will reluctantly in the upcoming episode. Or maybe her friends will get there before that, who knows. We’ve seen these two be comfortable around each other but she still has boundaries. He’s definitely going to use this against her after their marriage.
Overall, a good episode. I personally enjoyed it, something about the vibes in the hut is nice. Everytime, they mention Agastya, my eyes get misty. It’s sad to think that he just became another statistic in their household. Another man who died, just like his brother and father. Whenever I fall on edits of him, my heart feels a little pinch at the idea that we might never see him again, especially if they cement Surya as a separate character. But anyways, let’s keep positive thoughts and hope for the best. Aage ki kahani jaane Radharani!
