Think Love was semi hit. Salman had a string of hits/semi-hits post MPK. His first flop as a lead actor was Suryavanshi, after which he had a series of flops until HAHK.

Hi

Yes Salman had a string of hits not just after but also before mpk....as biwi ho toh aisi was also a success..but Love was his first flop.

Biwi ho...semi hit

Mpk...atbb

Baaghi.....hit

Sanam bewafa...super hit

Patthar ke phool...semi hit

Qurbaan....average

Saajan...super hit

Love ...flop....

Execution of love was flawed and direction was faulty, although the lead couple's chemistry and love story was very cute just like ek ladka ek ladki, but got flopped just like elel for similar reasons.
