Regarding Daadi and Binni's taane.. Frankly at this point, Daadi is like that evil stepmother in the usual fairytales, and Binni is the daughter, and step-sister who pushes and pulls and makes the life of the main gal tough.. We have 2 events coming up this month. Imlie3 has always had celebrations line up with important moments in the show.

Navratri and the leading days to it gave us the confrontation between Imlie and Sonali. It was also the early days of Agastya and Imlie’s contract marriage, they were getting to know eachother. Which was basically him making mistakes and having to manao her every day. After the Skand Mata Puja, it was revealed that Imlie was poor and Sonali almost got ousted from the house.

Karva Chauth was when we first saw Agastya and Imlie actually bond and let of go of their issues. Imlie learnt that Agastya was illegitimate and she gave him words of comfort. He ended up crying in her lap and after she broke her fast, they both wished for the other to find happiness. Chaudhary Sweets burned down that same night and it started the Amrit blackmail track, which gave the bar singer reveal to the Chaudhary’s.

Diwali lead to the introduction of the revenge family and Chutki. We had so much angst between Agastya and Imlie but the domestic vibes also got higher since the whole “biwi hai woh meri” from the separation. We also had the masked killer become a threat around that time.

Makar Sankrati was celebrated right after the end of the Vishwa blackmail track, it also started the confession era. Meera’s was brought back in, which then also brought in Agastya and Imlie’s marriage track.

Something of significance will happen during Maha Shivratri, be it Surya and Imlie’s wedding being hinted or happening. Or who know maybe something to give us hope that Agastya is back.

Holi is always a happier utsav in ITV, we’d need something good to happen for Imlie’s lifeless life to have colours in it again. Either by then, they show Surya and Imlie start to go in a good light or maybe something related to Agastya, who knows.

Either way, the PH wouldn’t miss these opportunities to capitalize on hindu festivals.

I don't watch any of those shows so can't comment in detail. Even if they show ML being supportive one can't ignore the fact that the male lead has hidden his marriage from his family and his wife is living in his house as a maid. Just coz the female lead is given a voice and ML supports her career, the shows don't become progressive.

Atleast in other ITV shows we see the ML either secretly supporting the FL or giving back to the people who tortures the FLs.

Surya does NONE here. It's complete negativity. How before this track we were atleast hopeful that what Agastya couldn't do, Surya could do i.e torturing the Chaudhurys.

What is he actually doing? 🤷‍♀️.

This actually could be a right fit.. Imagine Imlie bringing out all her shade.. and be the Bad B***h 😂 Sabke hosh udd jaengee.

Frankly, Binni Tinni doesn't bother me.. She is non existent.. As Kashish said, she ain't even a proper villain.. She can be packed the moment, Imlie gives 1% of her bandwidth, and "that's What she said" 😂

Coming to Daadi and others.. If u all recall, even pehle sab regressive hi the.. They used to find reasons to oust and reprimand Imlie.. Even Auggy was quite conservative and regressive initially and he was supposed to be foreign educated.. he changed over time.. Full on character growth.. And that's why we fell in love with him..

Toh abhi jab Imlie doesn't have backing from her Babu, why are we all expecting others to act differently with her.. Ye log nai sudharne wale.. Jo bacha khucha Daadi me grey shade tha, wo TRP ki bhent chadd chuka hai kaafi pehle..

Coming to what Tanu mentioned about others shows and their FL.. I am sorry but I beg to differ.. I don't see "Jhankar Beats", but from what I know the FL is a maid in the house of the ML.. How's that progressive... Even Imlie 1 was regressive with similar content till the time, Aryan hadn't made an entry in her life..

And yaar puhhleeeezzzzz lets even not talk about "No strings attached".. Most regressive, backward, gaslighting show I ever had the misfortune to watch...

I will still be very much on my previous stance.. Imlie is far better.. Thoda waqt dena padega.. last 2-3 weeks, they are setting up the stage.. Jab tak thoda kalesh nai dikhaenge, how shall they show redemption.. We have seen similar ups and downs in Auggy's character arc too..

Such a different girl if we compare this Imlie to the one who refused to answer to anybody when her chastity was questioned, after being kidnapped by Vishwa.

That was a Ram-Sita-Ravan moment, but she didn’t let anybody put her through Agni Pariksha. She instead stood her ground.

She’ll face off against Surya in certain moments. She has slapped him in front of a police station, reckless but still brave of her. She has gotten into crazy tashan wali fights with him with no fear.

Yet the moment, the Chaudhary’s are involved, sherni disappears and bheegi billi mode on…

I agree with you that Imlie is not showing anything good (there's no speck of positivity left). All of us have been frustrated from the time of the death promo. But no one can deny all this has happened only in the last 3 weeks.From the start of season 3 the show has been good. This is why I feel SP has interfered.

Again, I don't watch the other shows so I don't care what they show. I am sure there are some redeeming qualities there which is why people are watching the shows. But I am very picky and these shows don't align with my interests.

Actually currently all SP shows are toxic AF jitna mujhe samjha. Dil jalta hai Imlie ke liye because it was actually a very nice show to watch.

I'm still here only for Sai and due to a very slim chance that Agastya is alive. I dont recognize the majboor roti hui Imlie. If they make Surya the end game with Imlie and Agastya dead for real, there will be nothing worth watching in the show.
