I guess all the backlash of doing a Dulhania movie without Alia worked. Now they’re rebranding it as a “new love story”.

Shashank is not a blockbuster director. But if they keep the budget low they can get a hit out of it for sure. Varun cannot charge 35 crores here.

I am not an alia fan or varun fan but varun was her best pairing, she has zero chemistry with rk from what I saw in the songs, did not feel like watching them. Her and varun have amazing chemistry, I wonder if they had the hots for each other before. Horrible decision for alia to decline varun movie. I have only seen her movies with varun and srk except the flop movie with varun did not see that one because she is horrible in period films, she don't have the look for it. Her and varun have baby face which goes together. varun deserves better pairing for sure, cast him with better pairing like they are doing with other actors. cast varun with shraddha

It certainly feels like a Dulhania type of announcement. The title probably was Sunny Sanskari Ki Dulhania until they changed course.
