Earlier it was just Shabir, a popular expensive star working on Z fiction shows, where as Shradda was continuing with Kundali, despite too many lackluster time leaps & rinse repeat story plots..
See when story, concepts, plots, twists, main leads, promos etc. aren't engaging or attracting enough,
guess channel has to showcase some popular faces to get advertisers buy in regularly, for airing its daily fiction time slots.
Last few months Arjun, Sriti have joined now Dheeraj is also back with Z,
but have a feeling first Shabir, then Arjun & later Shradda will mark their exit post ZRA from this channel. 
(also Z doesn't have much budgets for accommodating many expensive actors/actresses at the same time.)
In that case feel Z channel may have no option than to bank on Sriti & Dheeraj for few more months, till some other popular face joins in existing or some other new shows post IPL.
Like you said she doesn't care anymore - which is what she said in that promo scene. 
Not even being able to watch without getting irritated. Now I actually prefer their 1st phase during Rajiv track, where he was at least a little more tolerable. 
As if she is dying for forgiveness.
