Though it is a Suhaag Raat song , there is a beautiful message in it, that impressed me many years back!!
A Great Mythological Evergreen Film for All Ages Is Karna. Through his performance, Tamil film star Sivaji Ganesan brings the real Karna to life. Wonderful sets and catchy tunes with excellent background music. Vrushali saw how difficult it was for him to fit in as a warrior from a lower caste when she married Karna. On their wedding night, she attempts to persuade him that caste and religion are only social constraints through this song! Such barriers do not exist for the valor of a warrior.
Of course, I am not an admirer of Karna from the Epic.
Song traslation--
What is the caste of breeze
What is the caste of breeze
Come on, tell me what is the religion of earth?
Is there any curtain that;ll be able to covers the brilliant sky?
What is the ray's light source?
Milk just has a white hue.
Do these cast obstacles make a difference between skill and merit?
Why warriors have to bother caste and religion?
That is unbearably hostile to brave warriors!
The only thing in the world that won't fade away, for ever shines is fame.
