Who's in Shakti these days?

I've seen the original .. well not the original original with L. Shankar but I have seen them in Pune with Mandolin U. Srinivas and man.. they were mind-blowing!

Good thing I don’t want award shows on tv... Just saw on news …perhaps it’s cuz I have heard so much new music far better than this for sure. .. song is good but not the best to win Grammy…

Shankar Mahadevan, Ustad Zakir Hussain, John McLaughlin, percussionist V Selvaganesh, and violonist Ganesh Rajagopalan

I missed their show last year. Waiting for next one in town :)

wow Lizzie. Definitely a highlight moment of life. ….that is incredible. I missed one of the best violinists / fiddle player in town today as something came up last minute. But still plenty of folks to watch :)

I've stopped believing in Award shows. It's never about what's the best. It's all the other stuff- networking, visibility, buzz, and what not. I've hardly ever liked Award winning songs or movies.

I used to watch it for entertainment value and also there were times one felt this one did deserve it. Etc…but yup ..all the factors u mentioned….

some artists with amazing music and lyrics aren’t even nominated that are far better than any nominated ones even..
