When I saw a random scene of this show for the first time, I thought Asif and MJ were a couple. I also thought there was a forbidden attraction or romance brewing between stepmother(MJ) and stepson(Zaid). That would have been a better storyline than the sh*t we got

The 1st episode had high ratings due to star power. It didn’t deliver for many people which is why views dipped. They would have dipped lower if it wasn’t for Wahaj and Ayeza in my opinion. It had great potential to be much bigger though, I agree.

Even Tere Bin first episode views are much higher than their other episodes and first episode had one scene between Meerab and Murtasim. The most MJ and Zaid centred episode has less views than the episode which didn't feature Zaid and MJ. I thought the Zaid MJ romantic scene episode will have higher numbers than any other episode in last few weeks but I was surprised which led to a conclusion that people watch for drama, star value works in bringing audience but success is never about star power, we have so many Bollywood and Hollywood movies failing with big stars in them.

This show did well for ARY TRP-wise. It was either in top 3 or top 5 of the week for most of its run (although there were 1-2 other simultaneous show(s) at ARY that were doing better). If only the focus would have been on wahaj and ayezas character then surely the yt views would have been much better..People tuned in to see them but got everything else except their scenes hence the drastic fall in views...mpht still had better viewership than this show when it was on air and used to trend in top 10.

It's still a hit but had the potential to be a superhit drama if only the writing was zaid mj focused..

All the shows first episodes have higher views as audience tune in to see whether they'd like the show and would want to continue it further..

Mpht has 5 crore+ views but the rest of the episodes had below 3 cr views..

Hmm even I noticed that epi 28 has lesser views, and I found that strange.

That is because the damage has already been done. Many have already left watching the show . Sexual assault scenes always get high views.

Wahaj said in some interview that they shot multiple endings and the happy one is being kept so he will surely get one of the girls, most likely Ayra.

Exactly. All E2 have less views than E1 for all shows.

It's the size of the drop which separates good/hit from bad ones.

Hit shows: The drop between 1st and 2nd drop is less than a third. The views become stable from E2 or E3 onwards.

Bad shows: The drop between 1st and 2nd episode is 40% or more. The views continue to dip post first episode and settle down much later.
