What love story is there without the triangle? They can have Asif fall out with the Jafars and keep the love birds away🤭 but Badar had one scene in mind of the first wife being forced to accept her sauten. So it had to be a triangle. As a viewer, I'm still invested in the love story because I have seen emotional growth. Ayra has been static ..like a wall...so personally she doesn't frustrate me because she's part of Zaid's mein...I'm just irritated with stretching of Asif - Ayra...

I'm pretty sure Pak TV still subscribes to the adage- ' the director is the king'...

And really, how to insert Ayra in the montage or ost when she's so unidimensional and self loving ... everything she has done is for herself, not for Zaid or any love...ya, but for Azekah, they should have acknowledged the amount of work she did along with Asif. Badar seems to have made two worlds in this drama and pushed the romantic one for promotion.

I think star power plays a role in retaining views to a certain point as well. They definitely won’t change anything since this formula worked. Kind of upsetting that they admitted using SA for views.

They are dealing with SA properly too na, so I guess we can't complain. It serves the purpose of punishing Asif, liberating Kash and guilt trapping Zaid...three in one twist.

For the record, I feel people should stop judging others based on some show.

When I said Ayra showed double standards I'm speaking about a girl who is begged by her husband for some time to sort things out. This girl also has the audacity to ignore her husband and join rival company and ignore his calls and conveniently pick it up for spreading some rumour. That is double standards.

Well, you may continue to judge me if it makes you feel better, but there should be some sense in what is being said and attributed. 🤭 Thank you.

When I saw a random scene of this show for the first time, I thought Asif and MJ were a couple. I also thought there was a forbidden attraction or romance brewing between stepmother(MJ) and stepson(Zaid). That would have been a better storyline than the sh*t we gotsmiley36

This show did well for ARY TRP-wise. It was either in top 3 or top 5 of the week for most of its run (although there were 1-2 other simultaneous show(s) at ARY that were doing better). But it could have been a much bigger hit in terms of YT views. 1st episode had 27 million views. It dipped by almost 50% in subsequent episodes and falling to sub-10m views later that. Successful YT shows don't have these drastic drops. If Mein was a good show, it could have settled at 16m-17m views per week.

To explain further...

Ayra calls off divorce and chooses to be second wife

Ayra chooses room and bullies MJ into throwing her a party

Now Ayra should be willing to take what MJ throws at her or she should be willing to share her husband. Not doing that is double standards.

Ayra joining rival company against Zaid's wishes is double standards.

Ayra ignoring his calls and telling tales to bhaabhi that he left her there is double standards since she herself put him in that position by joining rival group.

Ayra being molested and responding is not double standards.

But before that she should have had the sense to know her actions gave him no option than to listen to his father who owns the business and leave her there....that would be a woman in love owning up her share of the drama in their lives.

If Ayra can walk home purely on her strength of character and come back next day to confront Asif and has a husband who says he will investigate into the matter fair and square, she can be at least happy he's not brushing it aside... again calling him out and ignoring him when he's taking necessary steps is double standards.

You tube audience didn't like the second marriage twist. If it was not for the the ost, I would have switched off too.

If people left after seeing a woman being forced to accept a sauten, can't blame them. Sensible people.

Of course, speculations....may be ppl couldn't stand MJ's screams.

The views dropped cos public realised that they have been fooled . Remember Ayeza and Wahaj hardly had any scenes together in the first 10 episodes.

The 1st episode had high ratings due to star power. It didn’t deliver for many people which is why views dipped. They would have dipped lower if it wasn’t for Wahaj and Ayeza in my opinion. It had great potential to be much bigger though, I agree.

I think YT viewers were turned off way before the polygamy track.

E1 had 27m views but E2 only has 16m views. By E7, Mein had settled around 11m views. The next dip to sub-10m views come after E22.

I think lots of viewers were turned off by how screechy MJ was, Ayra-Zaid love story, lack of MJ-Zaid screen time in the first few episodes itself.

The 2nd marriage had happened around E16-18, and YT views were stable pre- and post-2nd marriage episodes.
