For me as the audience I only want her to stand by Ayra genuinely for the right reasons. Because I think that will sort of make up for what she did to Ayra in the past - the contract, getting her fired and just generally aiming to break Zaid/Ayra up. Not to mention her standing by Asif when Ayra came to plead with him to stop the harassment. So for me to believe in continued growth, this shift in her arc is important and it’s important it happens for Ayra’s sake and not Zaid’s.

I also think Zaid’s influence and MJ being in love will keep her more calm and collected as a person generally. Yes change doesn’t happen overnight and MJ is a work in progress but for them to be compatible, I think some alignment of their moral compass is needed. Zaid isn’t okay with unethical things, deceit etc. But for the most part she doesn’t have to completely change her personality - her bluntness for example is part of it, so is the vanity and confidence. So those are fine.

Also Zaid is not a saint either. He’s deeply flawed as well and between that two, at least MJ has a spine and is the more likeable one despite the flaws. So it makes total sense for two flawed people to find happiness together and for it to happen this messily 👍

The stage is set. If they don’t drag the episodes I think they can pull it off. In any case Pakistani dramas have this history with resolving everything quickly and weirdly in the last episode. So a lot happens. They drag the last third with some absurd plot twists and wrap it all up quickly in one episode 🤯 I’ll never understand it 🤦🏻‍♀️

So yeah I can’t rule out this possibility

Mohib also needs to make a comeback . He was the one who challenged MJ that she can never have a successful marriage.

That will defeat the whole purpose of MJ’s growth. It’s not about Mohib and it shouldn’t be about him. That was her goal before but now she’s changing

if he comes back now it’ll be like the show is screaming, “see loser? She beat you!” - which will cheapen MJ’s growth. Ultimately we don’t want her to do this to prove him wrong. We want her to do this for the right reasons

and anyway I think she’s over him. When you find happiness you let go of past grudges and bitterness

Btw when we were all discussing about how SA is a sensitive issue & should be handled very sensitively, I was about to talk about a drama called "Sangat". Saba Qamar is the heroine and is married to Mikael Zulfiqar. Zahid Ahmed is the rapist. But you know it was kind of weird. She gets pregnant. Zahid gets to know of that baby being his. He loves that baby. Then there's also a scene where you feel like Saba & Zahid are cool. She hates him but. Eventually Mikael kills Zahid when he gets to know of the crime. But you know you feel sympathy as well. I would really like for you to watch that serial and tell me what you think about it. That's why I says, how to portay a character and how the actor plays is also very important.
