Her transformation is quite evident(n it’s a work in progress),she’s toned down significantly to make this marriage work.Post Ayra’s entry into the Khan household,I see no wild episodes ,she’s trying to keep her cool, and it also helps that Z’s not poking the bear😊. Z’s retaliation used to trigger her so much during the initial days of their marriage but there’s a shift now.But let’s keep it real, she’s not turning into a saint overnight. She’s still the tough, get-it-done type.N rich folks don’t suddenly get a moral compass, moral high ground takes time. But is that the transformation that I want to see in her? NO. I want her living on her terms, society be damned. If her and Z r in it for real, they should give this marriage a shot-No dad manipulations, just genuine vibes.I want her to forgive her mom and drop the bitterness.I want her to stand by Ayra. But at the same time,I don’t want her to be whitewashed, it’s ok for a complicated/complex morally grey girl to grab her happy ending! Fiction doesn’t always need to impart lessons.I want her to embrace her complexities/chaos without being bound by any external pressures/expectations.

She has all that in control only for Zaid. If he chooses Ayra again, she is bound to be mad again.

Hope at least the last episodes bring back the focus on the supposed leads of the show. Obviously Ayra is important but enough of Asif, Kashmala, Rayyan etc.

For me as the audience I only want her to stand by Ayra genuinely for the right reasons. Because I think that will sort of make up for what she did to Ayra in the past - the contract, getting her fired and just generally aiming to break Zaid/Ayra up. Not to mention her standing by Asif when Ayra came to plead with him to stop the harassment. So for me to believe in continued growth, this shift in her arc is important and it’s important it happens for Ayra’s sake and not Zaid’s.

I also think Zaid’s influence and MJ being in love will keep her more calm and collected as a person generally. Yes change doesn’t happen overnight and MJ is a work in progress but for them to be compatible, I think some alignment of their moral compass is needed. Zaid isn’t okay with unethical things, deceit etc. But for the most part she doesn’t have to completely change her personality - her bluntness for example is part of it, so is the vanity and confidence. So those are fine.

Also Zaid is not a saint either. He’s deeply flawed as well and between that two, at least MJ has a spine and is the more likeable one despite the flaws. So it makes total sense for two flawed people to find happiness together and for it to happen this messily 👍

god I already know I’m gonna hate Kashmala next episode 🤢 for standing by her loser husband despite being well aware of his past with girls

For the sake of her character arc and growth, I hope Mj surprises us by keeping it cool
I would have so much respect for her if she stays collected and deals with it in the rightful manner - it’s about darn time we see this
