The weakness and fickleness in his character. He doesn’t know how to handle challenges in a relationship maturely. Maybe it stems from his daddy issues but he will always sway towards the option that is most convenient and challenges him the least. He pulled the same crap on MJ post wedding too. When he went against her and went to Ayra. Instead of acknowledging his role in agreeing to the marriage he chose passive aggressive attitude. Even though MJ was completely in the right and her derailing because of his attitude was justified. He wronged her. Without remorse. Till his second marriage he was going to divorce MJ without a second thought. “Jo main kehta hoon, woh main bilkul kerta hoon.” He used her insecurities to flex around her 🤢
Now when Ayra is acting up thanks to her trauma and derailing, MJ is suddenly the more compliant and agreeable option 🤷♀️ I mean… you can’t make this crap up. It’s literally how it’s being shown too. The juxtaposition of MJ Zaid scenes with Ayra locked back home. You’re constantly reminded of the Biwi left back home - someone Zaid married to protect her and give her that sense of security.
So not a good look for Zaid. I know it’s technically not his fault but the storytelling on screen is how a point is brought home and Badar made this *A Point* - so watching it like that obviously leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Him enjoying and relaxing against Ayra panicking and losing it
I don’t agree that Zaid is always stressed around Ayra. That’s just not correct at all. They’ve had their share of happy and loving moments too. More so than Zaid Mj have had if you count the whole drama. But right now yeah I agree, it’s rough. Likewise, Zaid MJ have had their toxic hell moments as well, but now they’re cool. Both pairings have now had both kinds of moments. And Zaid has always looked for comfort in the other woman when the one he’s with isn’t being agreeable. First MJ . Now Ayra.
If he and MJ ever have a rough patch again, he’ll just feel sorry for himself again and try to find comfort somewhere else 🤷♀️ It’s a character flaw - this lack of accountability and dealing with relationship challenges so immaturely
Having said that, I feel the writer is actually going to focus more on MJs growth and arc rather than Zaid’s. Or wrap it all up with one sorry to both girls from Zaid in the last episode lol
