Anyone would feel sympathetic towards people who take this dangerous route just for a better livelihood. Most of them are poor villagers who don't meet the visa criteria. Also, this film doesn't glorify it. it shows the reality and consequences.

May be sympathise is wrong word. I meant why would legal immigrants feel any connection for their journey. They might sympathise but feel no connection as both journeys are different.

I didn't blame the "government" but the production company Homdale which effectively is lead by a BJP politician and the distributor AA Films who certainly has issues with SRK because of not getting the distribution of Jawan.

I'm okay with genuine audience not liking the movie.

So don't see why you went a bit far with your reproach directed at me (next time, adress-me directly, Autumnn, okay?)

Maybe, but when releasing it had no success in India and was declared a flop (and overseas, it made even less than in India)... so, where had been the "connect" then?

dont want to quote that why didn't directly address you. Though I found that theory bizarre everytime you write party name and blame. Anyways carry on. This is first and last time ...wrote as read it enough times and found that utterly completely bizarre and unnecessary. Srk had two 500 cr movies so there is nothing to complain about.

May be not the journey.....but people can sympathize ....about why people would want to immigrate.....for want of a better life.......India is a good place for people with money.....but for poor the life is still dismal....what this movie conveys is that don't lose your life ......because without proper education and support life will be dismal overseas also.....people lead dismal lives in USA and European countries too..
