I just went to Pratiksha's post and people are bashing both of them in the comments. With rishta post gen 1 DKP had really thrived on the onscreen couple having good bonding offscreen and it being shown to the fans. So the fans are expecting the same here.

Armaan never really gave any hope to ruhi, he just told her the truth. It's Ruhi that she has developed hope.

Plus, Armaan doesn't even know that Ruhi married into the family just to be close to him. He feels Rohit will give her so much love that she will move on from him and forget him.

And even if it was 2 miss Maggie love, it was love for them. So seeing that person in front of your eyes, whom you had decided your entire future with is not easy, you can't just switch off your emotions like that.

Not saying that the eye locks are justified or good. But emotions are very complex, there is not always a black and white in it.
