Many possibilities. Could think of a few while re-reading the paragraph after posting. Lets see what they do. Way things are going, wont be surprised if Rajeev kidnaps Amruta somewhere down the line.

This is a old housing society block in Mumbai set as backdrop in KMTMG, where most residents are supposedly working middle class.

A much older man owning & living in one of the flats for so many years with his Maharastrian family, after 30 years of marriage suddenly has brought a much younger rich unmarried working GF to live in with him, where as his wife & two adult children got thrown out overnight from that flat. This man isn't yet legally divorced.

NOT a murmur on that man or cheap comments against that girl within building society got shown to viewers. (other than Jahan aunty being angry & vocal). This is such an open & accommodating society, people are so cool about EMA.

Is KMTMG story set in India or west?

Read a comment on twitter that story should focus more on Amruta/Bhavani struggles and not on AmVira so early. I wonder if it can be true since Amruta and her mother have good chemistry/compatibility/relationship, viewers might be expecting more of their scenes

Surely, Amruta-Bhavani scenes are good and should be given due importance. Can have more of it. Ahuja family... I dont like the acting there yet. May be concentrate on divorce of Bhavani a bit - does she need the symbols of being married? Can Amruta help her move on?

Seems like they are jumping to Nimrit's engagement scenes - which will be odd if it is on the current day, since they didnt mention anything about the engagement in the previous episodes.

The writer needs to do immediate damage control, focus on the Chitnis side of the story, bring in some past FBs showing frustration from Jayesh point of view about Bhavani being so old fashioned and his attempts at trying to change her and failing and hence starting his EMA with Ishika, something for us to believe that Amruta's dad is not so bad as they had portrayed so suddenly. (still EMA is not right and acceptable) showing Jayesh in bad light at the very start of the show when people are expecting some good family story starting from the Chitnis side at least for a month or two

The aunt of Virat is not needed at all, her open mouthed reactions will surely repel viewers and already the Ahuja side of the family is not strong for us to connect. Dadi should be shown with some kindness for us to believe that Virat loves his grandma because of her kind soul with some strong values and not because she is gloating in her wealth

There seems to be a AmVira dance sequence coming up which is again far too early to be shown

Many female viewers, young and old appreciate Sriti's portrayal of a woman in struggle and fighting back but not her romantic story so early

-Not only Chitnis even Ahujas. We need a better storyline on A Clan's side because we can't connect with them (too much OTT drama that wastes half an episode).

-The story wants her to dance paka, just like with working with Shengdana what to say? They should change this side of the story and connect them further.

Yes, I only saw Sriti Di as Pragya then in Reality but I must say watching her as Amu is delightful and changing. She has a lot of potential and she is talented, but makers & producers typecast her too much, to play boli bali characters, afsoos!

Ep 19 focused on the Ahuja's. While that's good, an odd thing is its probably only an hour after she left but she walks in to a home that is almost completely decorated for a function - engagement as mentioned in the title (but had a Punjabi name in the dialogues). Ahuja's preferred bride for Virat makes an entry - Sanjana... the girl on pic shown to the Guruji when he made a visit. Doesn't look like she will be the third wheel... but if she is, it will be really bad acting. Mostly (and hopefully) a temp role.

Good moments between Amruta, Virat, and Shekhar. Liked what Virat did to help her. Ammu continues to give back to Ahuja's as and when required. Those are probably the only good moments... rest was kind of boring (for me).

No matter who they will bring for him, the way his character was introduced, Virat will accept the only girl who will not give him dokha for the sake of money and we already know who she is. Third wheel abhi nahin bass cameo hona chahiye. The only third angle that can be is with his ex but in this story that should not happen, but ITV hai toh high chance for it to happen

Yo,I had the same thought while watching the last eps I saw. The fact they will always be akele and the others see them, kuch baatein honge and maybe to save her image, Virat will marry...ya something like that.

And that would explain the early shaadi of the leads as Guru Ji announced. Phir daring and outspoken Amu will change the A Clan's soch, tareeke...But the only thing I want is for her to become independent (aside), for ppl to not say "Oh she married a rich guy and sab milgayi". Bohot dekh liya yeh

Sriti might have given media interviews how Amruta is not like Pragya, as Pragya was more shy & not outspoken like Amruta.

But for many Zee & KKB viewers who started watching KMTMG Sriti's styling & looks onscreen minus chashma, Amruta's helplessness, stress, her crying, begging, her sacrifices for family, her humiliations & harassment's in recent episodes, do remind much of past Pragya.

Added it was quite rushed & unnecessary to show a drunk Amruta within third week of KMTMG's launch, along with a promo around it.. frankly the way drunk Amruta walked, talked, behaved, slipped, demanded, lost her senses, made silly antics reminded so much of drunk Pragya. Then already quickly forced falls & lifts, eyelocks of leads are being shown in KMTMG which again remind viewers so much of Abhigya.

Here, the more viewers get reminded of Pragya seeing Sriti onscreen as Amruta feel it can possibly do more harm to this show as along with Pragya they will also get instantly reminded of RS Abhi whom they will miss seeing with her onscreen, so it can be detrimental for Arjit to get compared with the caliber, screen presence, talent power, romanticism of an experienced star like Shabir, plus a well developed flamboyant, arrogant, lovable character like RS Abhi.

Reality is most TV viewers acceptance & connect to OTT Ahuja's in KMTMG is still low, along with lead character of Virat till now. (let's keep aside that overly social media hype & fanism)

I have different pov.

Amruta since day 1 didnt feel like Pragya for me - be it in terms of behaviour or styling. It took me a couple of eps to be okay with Amruta cause she was behaving weird (as in not Pragya like, which was the lens through which i was seeing her). Would she look like Pragya if she wore a specs? yup.. but a different version of Pragya - and thats a character who has gone through a lot of versions. None look like Amruta.

Though both go through their helplessnes etc. the way they are dealing with it is quite different. Pragya would be more emotional and take longer to think, not just do, something about it.

Drunk Ammu - may be was similar but there were differences. But yeah.. it wasnt 'completely different'. Eyelocks etc... yeah.. felt really forced in the first week (in the 2nd ep!)... in one ep i was hoping there wont be a long eyelock and glad it didnt happen... probably since that, it doesnt seem odd at all.

About Virat - I actually like the guy. Dont like his styling. but has shown enough till now to impress me. [I am someone who liked Abhi only from the ML track. before that he was many times on and off for me. It's only from the ML track that he has my heart, so to speak.] Had some complaints with acting in the first week, but fine with it later on. Would like to see him improve.

About Ahuja's though - cant agree more.

Since the topic of Pragya came up. For me, Pragya and Sriti are synonymous because such is the way Sriti portrayed that character, she almost lived that character. Everything aligned perfectly, body movement/mannerisms/expressions/dressing/hairstyle/different makeovers for each track fitting in so perfectly and again her performance change for each track, voice modulation, everything was perfect. Sriti had the ability to make us feel along with Pragya in all the emotional scenes. It was so much so that Pragya became a household name.

Amrtua is entirely a different set up. What could have started off emotionally for Amruta after her dad's betrayal has been sidelined with lighthearted AmVira scenes. Her dressing is casual, make up also I feel, might be except for the dance sequences.

The writers make the mistake of copy pasting Abhigya scenes be it in KMTMG or RM that we are forced to compare with the original which does not leave us satisfied. But since Sriti and Arjit have a good off-screen bonding, their scenes are not turning out as bad as was expected.
