After all no matter what, she is his daughter, it is her rightful house, and her right to ask for help, she also got to see Ishika’s shamelessness, manipulative nature and double faces.. So that was a development for me.. Set the tone for the latter to be the number one villain in the show.
Yeah.. thats the opinion i heard from a couple of others too. But somehow, i hated the scene. I wouldn't have cared if she slapped her dad walking out the previous night... never to turn back to him again.
And yes.. that scene also brought Ishika as the main villain.
Hope the ex of Virat doesnt pop up.. but that's what shows love to do - rather survive or even thrive on.


It's multiple times stressed that Amruta 3 years back cancelled her wedding at altar on wedding day just to work, take complete responsibility & look after her family needs when her father faced financial losses in his business. Her ex-fiance or his family may not be evil, it was her decision to cancel that wedding.
