I, as a millennial, still would not watch any sort of sex/intimate scenes with older family members but perhaps the trend is changing with gen Z. People relate cussing and sex scenes in films to reality.

I found Oppenheimer's nudity very unnecessary and I dont think someone like Christopher Nolan needed to resort to that.

I also don't find it comfortable to watch objectional content with parents. But because of woke culture times have changed, parents know their children have BF or GF n they don't beat up like earlier smiley37

Parents r asked to do sex education n teach about good touch n bad touch to their child or teach about avoiding unwanted pregnancy N try to be their friend so children don't hide things so children have became more free with parents.

Then no point in watching Bollywood movies. Earlier we watched Bollywood movies for the family friendly content.

I can watch better movies in Hollywood if I am not looking for family friendly material

Pehle Murder bana, usi waqt Masti aaya (one week gap incidentally)

Phir uske do sequels aaye Grand Masti I believe, was a massive success.

There was Jism before these two movies. It also had a sequel.

All these are "Adult" movies and were made a couple of decades earlier. But not all of them were successful.

In these two decades, there were/are many more such vulgar movies, and OTTs took them to the next level with Gandi Baat, etc.

More than anything, Mirzapur and Sacred Games (season one) legitimized them with their huge popularity in the Indian set-up. What is Animal before them? It is a much classier and sanitized product with excellent music and production values pandering to a larger scale of audience.

No matter how much bold or adult dialogue, there has to be well-executed content (direction, screenplay etc), and it is NOT possible for everyone.

Maybe it is. I believe Kabir Singh was Rated A movie, only ages 18+ can watch it. But how Animal is not considered Rated A? Sanju was U/A. This needs to change. Children should not be watching movies like Animal. Disappointed.

If kids are still finding a way to sneak into cinemas it’s their own fault

I would sacrifice coloured movies for black and white ones, if it would give back the decency in movies that it now lacks.

A lot of folks now have a problem with respect and dignity.

OH MY GOD. I’m watching the movie with my mum tonight and she already complains about BW kissing scenes. I don’t even want to be physically conscious when the humping scenes come up.

Not in my opinion!

Kids have a natural curiosity for everything 'forbidden'. I read about theatre staff that didn't respect the A-rating, so - again - it's a failure of adult's behaviour.

The lockdowns during the Covid-pandemic had given the OTT-viewing culture a kind of importance that Cinema can't reverse. The filmindustries have to act on to make the "going to the movies" a family event but also making it a pure friends event.

Animal principally is - imo - a male-friends-event.
