I am glad to know gul is not following her typical trope of an extra cheerful heroine here despite the hardships. Her shows typically also have a good family bond so I am glad that is retained here too.

aww, sorry for writing these, i didn't like any show enough to write updates like this ever since imlie season 1 ended. but now i actually look forward to season 3 new episodes

ikr? gul has really surprised me. btw i also got to know these recent episodes of imlie have been written by gul herself, hence the story has picked up. Apparently the previous writer was gonna show the same old 2 girls fighting for one guy (agastya's ex-finace vs imlie) but gul scrapped the idea. instead the ex-finance turned positive after seeing how nice imlie is and her character ended, similar to lavanya in ipk!

omg yes! that guy is similar to shyam, the only difference is here the sister is aware of her husband's kaali kartut and actually supports imlie now, unlike anjali who worshipped her husband. also the SIL here isn't doodh ka dhula herself so it's more fun seeing these grey shaded characters

nope, imlie has no idea that her jijaji was agastya's elder brother. i missed the backstory episodes so dont know the exact details of how much imlie knows about her sister and BIL. hopefully once the nephew is fully recovered, he will move in with imlie and agastya will get to know who this kid is. btw wont the kid become the waris of the family? im sure agastya's dadi will focus more on the "true waris" because agastya is najayez according to her. the only reasson she doesn't say anything because he's a boy

yep, have watched that episode sooo many times so i remember the outfits so clearly. also the combo of bottle green and orange looks sooo cute

Bold - wow! Kudos to gul. I actually like and am thankful for lavanya being a sensible and positive character at the end in ipk! It was really nice seeing her character grow like that

SIL looks like an interesting character too, being aware of her hubby and taking a stand. Anjali truly disappointed us there

@imlie - oh ok. I am sure they will show agastya first mistake the kid as hers and eventually respect her more knowing the truth. They might waive love confession around it. Ah, interesting already!

I hate these only male child can be heir and favoring them over women but you’re right, once the legitimate heir comes in front of dadi she will have no reason to support agastya

True. The costume designer had done a good job there. I also loved her sarees just after marriage

this dadi is mix of arnav's nani and dadi. she's super sweet and doting towards agastya but mosty indifferent to agastya's sister. and she absolutely hates imlie right now (haven't watched last two episodes and the precap showed dadi was feeling apologetic after finding out the truth)

Dadi’s character looks intriguing, not just negative or positive but greyish. Gul seems to be getting this one right
