Yes so stupid of them to go there without Zaid. But I think, Asif had this plan to threaten Ayra. So he was confident enough that Zaid will turn up

I don’t think his behaviour is supposed to be justified. Mubashira is also taking her frustration out on Kashmala. Everyone is picking their easiest targets. I think there will be growth on both their parts, but I don’t think it will be until quite a lot of damage is done.

Mubashira is using Kashmala as leverage. Its not ideal but she's out of cards. In her eyes since all of this started coz of Kashmala and Rayaan, its only fair she gets to go after them.

I also agree with you about him threatening Mubashira with divorce. Crappy move. Yes, he has seen Mubashira since childhood but she didn't do anything to him. Even on her anniversary she says tum nahi aate toh Chodti nai tumhe. Now I remember, when Mubashira thanks him genuinely for stopping Moid from slapping her, Zaid shows unnecessary attitude saying I would have done to anybody. I don't understand a lot of things about Zaid, and you've listed those points. In the first episode it seemed like him and MJ were friends and they got along...later he was weirdly rude to her.

My main problem is not whether or not he can be redeemed. I love those kind of stories where the morally grey hero changes for his girl. Its my guilty pleasure. But Zaid here has been a total dingus. First threatening with divorce, then being rude to Mubashira all the time.

He saw her meltdown and decided to give her trauma again. In my eyes thats irredeemable. He has no idea what traumatic memories do to a person. Its the dirtiest, sickest feeling in the whole world.

So there's also no power play because Zaid is holding the divorce card. There's nothing making me like him in general. At least other morally grey heroes stick in the marriage and eventually there's love.

@bold Exactly. You put it perfectly. There is no powerplay according to me bcz Zaid has upper hand i.e., divorce card. So what's the point. No equal standing.

Yes, he knew her since a long time. Saw her meltdown. She didn't trick him into this marriage. Then why attack her weakness? It was his impatient ass who wanted to marry as soon as Ayra refused to leave her brother for him. Matlab 🤷
