Everyone does the same, not just the South. Bollywood is called out because if they remake The Hangover, they would set the movie in the US or some similar place and redo the same scenes. Whereas in the South, they would try and fit the narrative into a local context.

Wokes shouting "copy of Dune, copy of Dune!!" just to sound cool...just shows how ignorant you are lol. There were no guns or big weapons in Dune, no big technology like seen here and not as much action as this film. It's a post-apocalypse film, the aesthetics will be similar. It's the same setting, obviously there will be visuals that resemble films from other films of same genre. This looks visually spectacular and unlike any other indian film. It looks like it will have depth and a strong screenplay unlike Brahmastra and Adipurush.

The telugu industry is convinced that Prabhas is some Big time Pan India superstar investing 1000s of Crores into his films even after Saaho, Radhe Shyam & Adipurush's reception in the north. There is no Prabhas Super Fandom in the north. It's fiction/PR. Now Allu Arjun, that dude is a star & he's created a sizeable fan base after his stupendous performance in Pushpa. So please kick wooden Prabhas to the curb & focus on Allu Arjun....if you love your money Tollywood.

i am not fond of south over the top movies but we have to accept the fact, prabhas is a huge star. a good movie of his will make money
