Where do you think Akshara got her flipping nature from? Some years ago, Goenkas would have surely ridiculed Abhinav for his status. But they had simmered down a bit these recent times. However, a person's nature don't change. Also it is not just about money and status.. it is about who and what is more beneficial for them. When Abhinav was alive, they treated him well because he was their damaad. Now he's dead, and appeasing Birlas to accept their daughter is more important. There was an episode during 2nd gen when Gayu had rightly called out this opportunist behavior of Goenkas.

They just keep proving her decision to stay away for 6 years right every time!!

My mom watched gen 1 and stopped during KairA, she couldn’t watch them only. Then I started watching from abhinav entry. I didn’t watch abhira from beginning, except clips here and there to see why this ship is getting so much hype but found how shallow their chars are. I was laughing at their angst drama when they just knew eo for a week.

So I don’t know how goenkas are. DKP should have kept that consistent cos now it’s too jaaring

Yup instead of Abhimanyu defending, for once Akshara raises her voice against goenkas and Birlas

She put conditions that if they wanted happy family for abhir, then she wouldn’t stay with Birlas, seeing their reaction and Manjiri’s behaviour, no mother will want the kid to grow there. And she has seen how arohi and herself were treated by bade papa as kids. Ideally she doesn’t need Abhimanyu but oh well DKP is so bent on this shaadi by hook or crook, but atleast let it be on her terms

Indira hats off to your prediction, I remember you used to say this way way back about akshnav but I honestly didn’t believe cos we know how makers are so particular about their lead pair haha somehow most of it worked out , don’t care what they are gonna show in future

Think like this.. if you find Birlas pathetic and selfish, Goenkas are 10 times worse than that.

They didn't even show in the series what they showed today... Had trps been stable or good then pregnancy track may have never happened... Truth is if Abhira didn't get trps, how will their daughter...?
