I think it could have worked.. Because whenever I see their epic confession, I just end up hating them. The rotating hug, AbhiM talking instead of Ak. It felt was selfish and did not care about others pain. And their love just did not feel that pure or nice in that scene.. Just ruthless..

What if instead of getting engaged to Arohi in first place, AbhiM just play sindoor holi with Ak. and then fill the episodes with Angst love?

I only remember cheering Arohi when SHE throws the ring at HIM breaking the engagement. OH I love that scene.

I am so glad I never watched this stupid show... May have hated it more than Saakk... I used bash Shaurya way more than he needed bashing abhi I feel... Abhimanyu is lower than him.

He forced himself on Akshara and blackmailed her to confess all along using Arohi as weapon. He had no plans of smooth break off either... My Shaurya was definitely more tolerable...

Forced marriage angle was atleast called out and ended up in huge debate on right and wrong... Doesn't matter they made joke of debate by end of the episode... But if show is to use such strategy in any way, they shouldn't be glorifying it at all... In saakk they criticized it for 20 mins but ultimately ended up glorifying it too... I don't know if DKP could even do that...

In my personal opinion only loose Korean style clothing suits pranali. She looked like a tiktoker in pre leap Western outfit and lesser said about the traditional the better.

Don't get me started about Abhira epic confession. I just never liked it. I guess they were trying to go the angst way during the jijaji time. but the angst feels warranted when there is a proper reason for the hurt they are causing. A legitimate reason.

Here there was no need for Abhi to get engaged to Arohi and make hurt face to ak. Ak did not ask him to do that his mother But ok.. whatever.

When the confession happens, I just hate them. The rotating hug infront o family and when understandably distraught Arohi says anything..

AbhiM just says.. "First off all I am not your Abhi, i am only Akshu's Abhi .." something like that. The nerve of him. The way he stood so self righteous.

I still would never understand why people even loved Abhira.. It gives me headache thinking about such a toxic couple.

Maybe that would have prevented AbhIra from coming off as so cold-hearted and self-centered, but I doubt anything else would have changed in the story line. Angst ? They are incapable of that, bas cringe soul mate connection karwa lo .

Akshara would have joyfully embraced Sindoor shadi instead of holding him accountable.

Kya hi angst love plot hota?

They most likely staged the engagement love triangle to justify Aarohi's resentment and involvement in their lives.

I saw numerous people wanting to see manyu behave like that with her again during their second tilak , and I was like why ?! His mom is pushing this alliance for his happiness , why did Aarohi do to get mocked by him ?

He literally dragged her back into the house , no one is forcing him to do that.

So We never saw this serial, but my mom sometimes saw it in afternoon repeat time. So we kinda knew the gist. Simar went... roli got married to the guys etc etc.

The one day.. for no reason, we (my brother and I) just did not have anything to watch so we watched SSK. The only episode which we saw from start to end. Guess which episode it was? It was Sidhant entry episode.

Beginning it was like Roli gets hit by an auto or something.. or she just faints and this guy sidhant brings her to simar's house.

Everyone is shocked to see the guy.. but simar doesn't even care.. she was much worried about her unconscious sister. And then thisguy after putting the girl on sofa goes.

"Main wapas agaya.. jeethke"

"Maine yeh kiya.. Jeethke.."

"Maine jaise kaha tha us din.. waise hi maine kiya .. aur woh bhi Jeetke"

For every line he had jheetke in the end. By the fourth line, my bro and I started saying "Jheethke" with him.

We made way too many jokes. honorable mentions

"So.... Did you lose?"

"I think he is trying to make a point.. Does anyone get it"

"Who is this 'Jeet' they are talking about. What did they take which was his?"

And then we went back to not seeing any episode again. One episode of pure fun.

I remember seeing the promo of Roli getting married and getting confused. I thought she was a school kid. I thought I saw her in school uniform. But my mom said "maybe she had her entrance exam in after simar's wedding and got admission in college" And I forgot about it
