I pretty much agree with this thought in the tweet here.
The only problem with the 17th is that there's no "justice" system- m-dand gets handed out like candy according to the whims and fancies of the king.
I've seen too many serials get destroyed once marriage takes place and saas-bahu drama starts. Hopefully that doesn't happen to D-T.

My Opinion:
I don't know why Royal treatment Dhruv got & still getting is sound like Updated Version of Daughter- in-Law Vs In-laws .
Difference is Here Would be Son- in-Law went Through different types of Test .
It's been more than 100 episode viewers watching Dr. Dhruv Saxena's efforts in various ways including Swayamvar just to prove that he is Suitable Life partner for Princess TaraPriya of VG .

I could see same efforts From princess Tarapriya of VG for Neurologist Dr. Dhruv Saxena š¤.
I'm neither A TRP viewers nor A citizen of India and They have TRP pressure so I don't think right now my opinion/ wish matters.
I just hope they won't Spoil their Show just for the sake of TRP.
I have checked few tweets and he/ she is talking about Some missing piece/ referring half destroyed Navrangvan.
For This -
They can Show both century at the same time .
Dharmenda can Stay here or return,
and Navrangvan can be destroyed or just entry -exit point can be damaged.
May be after Wedding when Tara will Miss her family as A loving husband he will try to find a way Or will do some resource on history of VG to know about Navrangvan there they can Get A clue ...
For Twist They can show Involvement of Some archaeologist

I had a read of this and my opinion is slightly different but as Jannat said I am neither a TRP audience nor based in India therefore my statements are to be construed as opinions only:
- itās been over 100+ episodes where all we have seen is evil (Samrat) doing his deeds and not being punished. However the ML us constantly punished. This can be very off putting and gauging TRP audiences they donāt like ML suffering which given the TRP status rings true.
- we have a godly character confirming that he will fulfil the FL wish of marriage and reunification of ML family. To not do that would be saying that god was wrong and I donāt think Indian audiences will accept that. That plan may backfire royally.
- in the current century nothing ever happens outside the palace. Even the competition is held within palatial grounds. People will get and are getting bored with viewing the same thing over and over.
- The author of the post is advocating a very complex narrative which we know the writers are terrible at executing. The curse was botched so bad and even counting illness, god had to come literally to fix the mess. I donāt want this show to be astha channel spokesperson.
- Dhruvs family told him to bring Tara as his bride so they know or think he will marry her. He certainly wants to and was willing to go through with the rituals too. However if needed they can again remarry in 21st century too.
- in 21st if you think it will be FL and MIL here we have ML and his would be in laws. It is a saas javai drama as far as I can see it. He is trying his best to win their hearts.
- in 17th century justice is an anomaly. The audiences are mainly young inexperienced viewers who think rules are same everywhere. You saw the hate on Tara when in case of the show she was repeating the lines given to her. You can only imagine the hate that will spread if the ML suffers more.
- I rather they show 17th and 21st century simultaneously. They have to fulfil the words of god which means DT must marry or the stable TRP has chances of fluctuating even more. The TT portal is a public domain now and has lost its appeal and we know VG will be destroyed eventually.
- They donāt have to make it saas bahu. They can show DT as a team overcoming challenges in 21st like they did in 17th. There are so many loopholes that needs to be cleared.
Audience wants new and keeping the same plot and adding ātwistsā to it wonāt work. People also want Tara in new getup and they can always travel back to 17th if and when needed. From my perspective at least keeping them in 17th wonāt help their own case. You read comments on Insta and YT and even this author admits that only if the makers can execute a complex plot, and we know they cannot.
Tara is doing her best now to be an equal partner and she is rebelling against her family by keeping secrets but she shined in 21st and if given a chance I can confidently say she will once more. Now I am seeing her thoughts but her family is not known for just punishment ergo hate for them and her is almost a certainty.
What I would want is Dhruv Tara married, in 21st with simultaneous 17th century track on Mahavir anusiya and VG. DT can visit 17th when needed. It is easy to show DT in 21st and 17th like before than vice versa. Also, this will bring a fresh outlook to the show.
