Excellent suggestion. No troll will go through that much trouble only to be deleted by mods if their only goal is to cause chaos.

As for entering phone number on this site, that would be a hard no. My safety is more important than being on this forum. I would rather leave then share my phone number. I do not need or want to discuss BW that bad.

Another suggestion, do not allow newbies to post right away. There should be a mandatory waiting period of at least a few days before a newbie can post. This would deter the bad apples that create MIDs in the heat of the moment just to attack and create fights.

That is a very bad idea, if you want existing members to do that too. You dont want to be giving your phone numbers like that. These are linked to a lot of things. I have lost count of the number of times I have got msgs saying the password has been compromised. The only relief I feel at such times is that I dont have any personal info here.

As it is we have enough companies selling personal information.

It can lead to a much bigger problem than having balanced Bollywood discussions.

However, it can be an optional feature which gets you some sort of "verified" badge that this person has validated their phone and also get some extra features. And it can also help them retrieve their account in the event they no longer have access to their email and have forgotten their password.
