When was my topic moved to this frustration thread 😲??

The problem with many people over here is not Abhira’s reunion as it’s meant to be the endgame.. it’s due to inconsistency in writing and the way the story is going forward. It’s absolutely senseless. They can take it slow after Abhinav’s death. There is no need to show Abhira scenes all of a sudden.. it is like the scenes have emerged from nowhere. How many times they show characters flipping?? I don’t know how DKP is going to convince people and show this reunion is justifiable and all that happened in between is just a mistake and can be ignored.

In arrange marriages, there is an intent for relationship with the chosen partner. Even when divorcee or widow or anyone gets married, there is an intent to start a life together. Here Ak proposed and Abhinav agreed to marriage so that Abhinav can become “father” of the child, there was no intent for real relationship in that decision, which is different from arrange marriages you are referring to.

Both Ak and Abhinav were adult, it was their consent, their choice. So why is Abhinav hailed as selfless and seen to sacrifice 6 years of life. He chose that life. He didn’t marry as some balidan/tyaag or ahsaan for Ak, did he? So where does sacrifice, selfless act come in. He wanted to and chose that life when Ak asked.

No doubt he did justice to father-son relationship created and went beyond, but I would definitely not hail his marriage decision and aftermath for it.

I call it a bad judgment, a decision taken without thinking and understanding the implications, not a selfless, sacrificing act as gets portrayed for him.

If the woman goes back to her ex-husband, she will be termed as characterless in society. The same woman was hailed when she moved on from her ex and married a stranger just to give her son a father!!!

We are living in 2023 and the society has evolved. It's one's own choice, if they want to remain single or get married to someone.

But when Ak asked to marry just for the child, he by his choice agreed. No one forced him. So it was his decision to live the life that followed. So how is that his selfless act dedicated to two of them?

Did he marry Ak as ahsaan on her and her child? Or did he marry her out of sympathy?

He agreed to marry because he wanted to be “father” of the child, so how is that decision a selfless decision and how is the life that followed a selfless act?

No they will not call her characterless. And if they decide to start a life together and give it their best shot, they r not characterless. It is individual choice and society plays no role in personal choices

Ditto my confusion too. What is happening here? I was thinking we can leave after the car accident today that was oncoming. Now they are making a hotch- potch.
