Why do you think even when Abhir was in Udaipur, BP was like go to Kasauli. When Abhi came and said he is taking the order back they didn't call and informed.

Lol aise mein jitni bhi arranged marriages hoti hain sab selfish😆 I don’t see anything wrong with Abhinav’s decision because it was proposed and consented by Akshara. He can marry anybody above the age threshold and single. And Akshara at that point check marked both points. From my perception it was not selfish, he gave family to a woman who was thrown out by her family, and a child who he loved and raised well for 6 long years. Agar single banda kisi divorcee ya widow se shadi karta hai who also has a kid to wo selfish ho gaya?

In arrange marriages, there is an intent for relationship with the chosen partner. Even when divorcee or widow or anyone gets married, there is an intent to start a life together. Here Ak proposed and Abhinav agreed to marriage so that Abhinav can become “father” of the child, there was no intent for real relationship in that decision, which is different from arrange marriages you are referring to.

Both Ak and Abhinav were adult, it was their consent, their choice. So why is Abhinav hailed as selfless and seen to sacrifice 6 years of life. He chose that life. He didn’t marry as some balidan/tyaag or ahsaan for Ak, did he? So where does sacrifice, selfless act come in. He wanted to and chose that life when Ak asked.

No doubt he did justice to father-son relationship created and went beyond, but I would definitely not hail his marriage decision and aftermath for it.

I call it a bad judgment, a decision taken without thinking and understanding the implications, not a selfless, sacrificing act as gets portrayed for him.

He found a helpless women in the bus who was kicked out by her husband ,this stranger helped her selflessly, gave her financial support and asked to go to her friend ,family but it’s Ak who chose to stay with him ,he selflessly took care of that pregnant women and selflessly risked his life to save her and her kid during delivery, it was Ak who proposed her to become father of the kid looking at the way he took care of her kid ,even if she didn’t propose he would have still helped them both selflessly the same way has been doing . Also Ak don’t want to go back to her family so he accepted and I don’t see anything wrong in wanting a family ,at least he didn’t ask someone to give their wife. And he dedicated his life from last 6yrs to these two ..so he is SELFLESS and all the applauds and praises he has been getting from Ak in the show are justified.

Bold above - Agree that was his selfless act of helping Ak.

But when Ak asked to marry just for the child, he by his choice agreed. No one forced him. So it was his decision to live the life that followed. So how is that his selfless act dedicated to two of them?

Did he marry Ak as ahsaan on her and her child? Or did he marry her out of sympathy?

He agreed to marry because he wanted to be “father” of the child, so how is that decision a selfless decision and how is the life that followed a selfless act?
