Reyansh's questionable behavior

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone is having fun watching the show. I was shocked at one of the scenes from the initial episode where Reyansh slapped Aradhna's butt. Frankly, that action of his is an assault if he did it intentionally. However, I did not quite get if it was intentional or accidental on her a**.

That was seriously an assault if it was intentional and a pure red flag. I can not help but think that if Reyansh did not look the way he does it would be creepiest as hell. If a not-so-good-looking guy did it then most girls would feel molested. This makes me think that this show is relatable in the sense that a similar thing happened to me when I ended up falling for a guy who randomly picked me up in his arms during college as he was being 'friendly". Regardless, that guy was a big red flag but so is Reyansh if he did it intentionally.

Now that I am older, I can't help but think how unforgivable such actions are. I guess that is what the show is about. The action if intentional showed how much he actually respects women.

Reyansh did it intentionally he thought Aradhana is also like other girls he mingles with it & they are fine with what he does to them. That slap was a wake up call for him that not all girls tolerate what he does because in reality it was a harrassment and Aradhana is definitely not a girl he can do whatever he wants & get away.

If Reyansh didn’t look the way he did.. alot of the things he did would be considered creepy. Watching your employee throught CCTV footage for example.. that’s a prime example of stalking. Or beating up any guy she talks to.. another prime example of some sort of obsessive behavior. However in indian tv shows stalking is portrayed as ‘cute’ just bcs the guy looks like a model

What do you mean by not like other girls? I am sure they do have a problem too but they can't voice it out because he's powerful and they don't wanna lose jobs.

The one who throws on Reyansh thats what i mean blinded by his charm even his friend Sunaina mention that to him thats what i mean. Overall in reality girls files a police complaint if such harrassment happens at work domain its not acceptable

I think what Mages meant also was since Reyansh is powerful and rich he probably has a lot of yesmen and yeswoman around him. To add to that even if a lot of girls are not okay they do not have the guts to go file a complaint against him.

Well considering this an Ekta show, it is not even that bad as I saw shows where male protagonists raped the female lead and she forgave it (that was Kaisa yeh pyaar hai)

I later saw some discussions that Sony is promoting sexual harassment in the workplace. I would not take it that far just because Araddhana is falling for Reyansh. The truth is in reality girls fall for toxic guys all the time. Sometimes they get and stay married to them too. Thankfully some of them mature and get settled down for healthy relationships.

In real life its difficult to live happily in a marriage with toxic boys and seriously noone can change them unless they want to change themselves. Toxicity is in their nature due to the atmosphere they grown up to thus they become like that in nature with their negative traits especially anger issues. I agree a certain % do settled down for a healthy relationships but like I say its in their hands whether they want to stay in the darkness they always stayed & struggled or embrace the brightness sunshine of life

Oh yes, I was talking about girls maturing and settling down with good guys. For sure no one can fix an adult as a project haha. You are absolutely right. These ideas belong to stories only and we do not want our lives to become dramatic.
