I agree with some story points I guessed watching the trailer (single parent, different social environment, not trusting in own feelings and wanting to test compatibility)... I've no qualms with using ideas if the execution is another one (the Hindi movie = remake of the Telugu one, is "It's My Life" - with Genelia again, and Nana Patekar as the overbearing father, just released 3 years ago).

I don't criticise that ideas of other movie stories are used if the story still has some originality...I simply dislike - in a time when it isn't needed anymore - blatant remakes of other Indian movies with no shred of own creativity.

What the trailer shows me, is the director of the turn of the century...and it was this director I loved (my disappointment only started with MNIK when he himself indulged in decisions that damaged the movie's reception which he already made in KANK).

At the moment, I'm still positive towards the new movie.

The Bushan brothers inflate the budget (for tax - and other shady - reasons, I think) and Karan deflates the budget (for the BOI-label, I assume).

I already brace myself to bear with all the predictions flooding the internet...and then all the numbers!!!

It is Alia's movie now...if failed it will be Ranveer's movie. Sadak 2 reprise.

Also I've not seen many of her movies or trailers...is Alia acting fine here? By fine I mean her usual or something different here. She's unnecessarily loud....voice and expressions.
