This sounds like a telugu movie called Bommarillu with Siddharth and Genelia. Genelia goes to live with Sid's family for a week or so because his father challenges him Genelia's character can't gel with their family. Oh boy, KJo is straight up lifting story lines now if this is indeed true

It's not exactly the same story because there is no switching...it's just that first the young woman comes to live for a week in the young man's family and at the end of the movie, the young man does the same in his love interest's household.

However, the intention is the same. Personally, I find it an interesting idea...and 3 months is more realistic to get to know the other's family/family life and for the prospective new family to get to know the own child's love interest.

Dekho it’s simple..when Gully Boy came out..I wanted to see a Ranveer Alia movie with glamour and gorgeous dresses and songs and location etc etc..it’s like KJo manifested what I wanted🤣 Tum Kya Miley was a dampener but probably in the context of the movie it will make sense. Also I am happy KJo is making an entertaining movie and not a preachy one..or another one sided love cynical Toota Dil ADHM which was a torture! we need some escapist cinema with pahado main songs and typical Indian family drama…you can’t expect Kjo to make serious cinema..and he shouldn’t attempt it also.

Budget is 75cr. It will be a blockbuster if it does 125cr.

I never imagined the trailer would be so AWFUL!!!

The first 2-3 seconds put Rakhi Sawant to shame. What a masterstroke, sabki credibility eksaath khatam karne ka potential hai isme, if the whole movie is like this.

Also if the leads were not Alia-Ranveer, then jo bhi hota wo khatam ho jata forever in Bollywood.

Potato potato dude. I watched the trailer and it's literally the entire storyline lifted off from the original South movie, only with glamour and noise. Even the fight in the trailer about not being compatible is the same. The only difference is in the original the girl doesn't have a huge family, only has father.

KJo managed to lift off parts of different movies to make a khichdi of a product.
