I think they are Hemant Kumar's children Ranu & Jayant Mukherjee.

Hey you guys! ❤️

I know I've been MIA max but long story short life exploded on my face in entire June and I'm just salvaging whatever I could. College applications and competitive exams in India are a whole another story and as someone who dared to get into the ring twice, trust me when I say that it destroyed me enough, specially when I didn't get results even after performing well in certain exams.

Last week I almost finalized a college and went for their induction process but the living conditions were so horrid that I had to decide to take up another college, which I could have gotten year ago itself.

Now after travelling back to my home from Mumbai just last week 29th I'll be leaving for Bangalore on 6th, yep in TWO FREAKING DAYS! And I am a mess all over. Everything is allover the place and I barely have time to sleep off the tiredness. The upcoming change is gonna be DRASTIC and with no time to relax mentally or physically I am as scared as I can be.

Just wanted to thank all of you guys here who have listened to me and tried to pull me out of my bad mental state in the past few months. Honestly, I've started getting grey hair in six months of 2023! Failures are tough to get over and this one, when I came close to success and still didn't make it - is going to take some time to recover.

I am hoping to move forward in life with as much grace as possible!

Thank you so much all of you for all the kindness and love. I'll keep coming here whenever I can after I've adapted to the new city fairly!

(Hope this is okay cos this is a chat club and I barely had time to figure out where should I go with this much emotion lmao xD)

(Sorry if I forgot to tag anyone else. Had only 5 mins tops in between meals.)

Ritu, thanks for dropping a note to let us know what's been up. Yeah, upheavals are always tough to deal with and you've been on this roller-coaster so long so very understandable. But you've made a decision to go forward with what you've got, and for that, I'm very happy for you.

Bangalore is a beautiful and vibrant city so full of culture, and very happening too now with all the young IT crowd there. So I'm hoping you'll have a very fulfilling stay.

Success is what it means to you. Period. I don't think there's anything called failure. Even so-called failure is success if you get up, dust yourself off and move on and that's what you're doing. With grace and resilience. And that is success, dear girl! So don't beat yourself up too much 🤗. You're moving on and ahead and that's what counts.

Do take the time for some self-care when you can. We so often forget to do it in between all the ups and downs and shelve for seemingly more important things. But trust me, it's vital. Relax, unwind, regroup, and collect your thoughts - take a few minutes to step away from the madness and mayhem. It helps you deal better.

I hope and pray for everything good to come your way in this new venture!

Best of luck! 👍🏼

Ritu dear, you are a brave girl.🤗

There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. All the best with your new course in a new city. You never know, this could be the beginning of something new and something better.

Love you!❤️

Cheers..

There is no "hug" reaction on IF unfortunately, but definitely sending you lots and lots of hugs. I don't know anything about the Indian education system but I can definitely understand the competitiveness levels and the efforts that are required to reach a certain mark to get closer to your aspiration. In Korean, in such situations, there are two common phrases that you will hear, 1. 할 수 있다 (hal su itta)- meaning "I/you can do it!" and 2. 파이팅/화이팅 which is literally "fighting" infusing the never giving-up spirit to 1.

Failures are always, tough, love, but I still like to think of them as dips that are needed to fly even higher. After all, no bird flies continuously upwards. They need to swoop downwards occasionally to maintain the height and consistency of their speed. I am sure eventually, as you settle down a bit you will get over this dip of yours. Currently, it may seem like something you really didn't need but as time passes, who knows maybe you will start feeling that this has led to something much more worthwhile. Who knows, right?

Anyway, take your time, surf through the current chaos, settle down, contemplate, and recover soonish!

Dedicating my 3 of many favourites when am in my slumpy zone. Hope it gives you a certain level of healing as it does to me.
