The legal cases will probably not be as sharp and interesting as they were in the American version but for an Indian version, this doesn't look bad at all....looking forward to it.
Absolutely agree with this, what a well made show. The USP is the treatment of the show, how subtly and naturally they maintained the fine balance in portraying the subject matter. Especially since its based on true story and the subject matter is sensitive. Kudos for not turning it into a propaganda or sensationalism to get eyeballs! The casting team did such a wonderful job. It really helped in keeping this grounded as everyone acted and looked the part. 👍🏼
I finished it in one go as couldn’t stop after starting to watch it. Around episode 4-5 it really got a bit frustrating to watch but then it really helped in putting the point how frustrating and slow the system is, it was exasperating to watch. I actually remember following this case, especially the tape part and nothing about the journalist though. It was constantly playing all day across all news channels. 😣 Its just sad how easy it is to manipulate people collectively by misusing the media.
Karishma and Zeeshan did a good job, so did the other characters.
On a side note todays Kuchh Ankahee episode was better, liked Salman better today, got a peek into why Saamya’s husband is the way he is, also Saamya finally showed some sense in todays episode.
+1 to everything scoop related.. it was slow but I didn't feel like it tbh Caz they still kept it interesting even if the jail period was exhausting to watch in the sense that how she was facing the cruelty Caz outside wala sab and kaise they were constantly trying was kept realistic and engaging faltu ka kuch bhi nahi tha in the entire show the reason why it was so good ke filler ke liye kuch nahi tha
About kuch ankaheee yeah finally Salman ko bhi 2 scene diya jahan he is doing more than just pick and drop😆 Yeh Aliya mujhe samjh nahi aati her tantrums and attitude really passes me off but anyway we got some cute scenes of Salman Aliya this week and haan poor Saif one can kinda tell he isn't really I to his commitment with that shagufta bas ghulami Mai hi is ready to follow orders but I do like the mil and samiya ka bond and how it is flourishing . Ab am dead sure she will stand with samiya if needed and not Caz of money which was the case earlier
Anyway I watched bill's dobara and wow it left me breathless in terms of how good it was bilal as mahir and hadiqa as mehru have my heart...it is funny that itv has tried so many times to do this widow.remarriage trope but never succeeded and here we have not only a widow but a widow with 2 married children marrying a Guy her son's age and wow the way they tackled it and the izzat and puar and support mahir and mehru had kasam se dil aagaya the one epi of mahir ka behkana temporarily really passed me but overall what a show applause* absolute brilliance and I have fallen for bilala even harder than I was liking him as Salman the guy is just so effortless and easy on the eyes and mahir is not easy to play such complicated guy he is due to the past and negligence all his life and mehru that woman deserves all the love in the world and respect amazing amazing amazing stuff and the fact that despite being the huge age difference in real too between hadiqa and bilal not for a moment they looked odd and it was definitely refreshing to see a woman being 20+ yrs older than the guy in real too mind blowing stuffffffffff... I mean itv tried kind of thisnwoth swarn but wahan she loved her husband like crazy and the new guy was still her age and her love..and kids were downright evil
.jabke yahaaan all that is not there the kids do get mad but they have all humanity and usual.greys they were not bad children they were just taken aback by the fact that their mom married a guy their age but eventually understood and turned out to be supportive it was really really nice to see the whole journey of all characters ..I cannot with the utmost sensitivity they handled everything

Oh yes this definitely looks interesting finally Kajol got something worth her callibre I guess and I am liking thay for a change she ain't doing loud acting .
