I just realized the title of the movie is literally a Hindi translation of "True love story"🤣....Satya Prem ki Katha😆
Every new thing that's coming out is underwhelming these days man.....smh
But I like that Naseeb se song from this soundtrack....rest looks like typical stuff though.

I started watching scoop on Netflix by Hansel Mehta and so far enjoying it so much..again a show that is focusing on story more than the cliched elements and Tanna is really good as the crime reporter ..infacy I am liking it better than that scam.1992 show of Mehta which is one of the most popular web series that one I just didn't get much due to its stock market plot and not really undersatnd how it works and no matter how much I try I just know the very basic utter chadhao but it had so much of sme ka working very hard to keep up what is going on..but this is so well done like I want to keep watching..so happy and torchwood that lately the content is more focused on the stories than adding cliched stuff for.eyeballs and so far this show.is clean too
Thanks for the Scoop review yaar....I read some good things about it on Twitter also.
Btw I managed to watch Dahaad last week but forgot to post my thoughts here....lol I really liked it.....infact its one of the rare series I couldn't stop myself from binge-watching and finished it in two days😆.....mainly cuz they did such a good job of keeping you on the edge of your seats about how that creep will be caught since he keeps getting away with a lot.
Just few things I didn't understand by the end....kisi ne Dahaad technically toh maari nahin😆. It was all very organic and raw police work for the most part....a bit reminiscent of Delhi Crimes but not as dark and graphic as that. Here, the disturbing part came from the fact that so many girls were dying and no one even noticed or cared to follow up on them being missing....their lives were just that cheap cuz they were from poor families who felt shaadi ka pressure? And I was feeling extra level of disgust at that Anand guy for preying on girls from low castes/minority religions so he could use their insecurities to get their trust.
Sonakshi was really good and ofcourse so was Vijay Varma as the serial killer. Even Sonakshi ka boss character was good....I did a double take when I realized that the other sub inspector was the Tumbbad guy....lol
Only thing where the movie kinda went into a weird zone was this whole drama of a possible affair between Sonakshi and her boss....lol matlab pehle I thought they would keep the narrative above that since others were busy suspecting them anyways but end tak dikhaa diya ki dono ka guilty conscience hai in feeling attracted to each other....lol so didn't get the point of that.

I guess they wanted to show that despite that solid attraction and all somewhere the caste did.hild him back to fully go out also the family tho chick chik wife ke saath bhi rehna hi tha but woh attraction toh tha .. and thoda dimaag galat line pe jaa raha tha but just in time he smabhalooed self..idk that was confusing too..lol dahaad kisi ne nahi lagai as such but my understanding was it was anjali's dahad against system how she chased the case despite so much casualness and carelessness of all but she didn't let go as well as a dahaad to make her position in a place in a system where caste system is so prevalent she went against everyone to follow her path in her life as well this case particularly.. another take is she became the voice of those girls.who.deserved justice toh dahaad I guess
Yeah I also.liked ke despite the nature of the topic the show they didn't go into making it gory to show Anand psycho woh aise bhimpata chal hi gaya hai that was what I was saying the other day too ke opportunity bhi thi but they tried to still keep.fpcus on the main idea main plot than doing things for eyeballs..ke web hai toh aur graphic ho jao Caz how else will they establish it..and yes it was the journey towards the conclusion that mattered.😆 At you belatedly realizing it is tummbad guy no worries it is common for all I guess he looked so different.. and yes was glad sonakshi got a meaty role where she could actually show us what she is capable of...
I am glad you liked it as well scoop is pretty much same so far am 2 episodrs down will update if anything changes
Caught up on yesterday's Katha epi.....lol cute tha....I wasn't sure how they will handle this transition to Katha opening herself up but they mostly did a decent job....basically they showed baby steps - she started watering the plant Viaan had given her, stopped holding herself back from accepting little gestures like him making coffee for her and letting herself look at him in between waise hi.....they've started playing female paragraphs of Khaare Raste on her now too....lol
So looks like this week will have build up to this whole long drive/ice-cream date they are going to have.....aaj ka whole epi was dedicated to little moments in the office....lol end mein dikhaya Katha even brought Kadaah prashad for Viaan and pehle hesitated to give it to him but he still found the dabba on his own and khaa gaya😆
Right now Viaan doesn't seem aware that she's decided to give him a chance....he's just going with the flow and well she kinda is too I guess.
As always very sorted and interesting thought to clrbrat3 self instead and the way he describes it sounds so genuine
So I have fins8hed scoop and am in total awe of it..brilliant job by all involved 👍👌 A++ show done with utmost sensitivity and remaining focused on the story.. and calling out our print media which everywhere functions pretty much the same way.. had so much fun with this one I was totally immersed in it and highly recommend it

Absolutely agree with this, what a well made show. The USP is the treatment of the show, how subtly and naturally they maintained the fine balance in portraying the subject matter. Especially since its based on true story and the subject matter is sensitive. Kudos for not turning it into a propaganda or sensationalism to get eyeballs! The casting team did such a wonderful job. It really helped in keeping this grounded as everyone acted and looked the part. 👍🏼
I finished it in one go as couldn’t stop after starting to watch it. Around episode 4-5 it really got a bit frustrating to watch but then it really helped in putting the point how frustrating and slow the system is, it was exasperating to watch. I actually remember following this case, especially the tape part and nothing about the journalist though. It was constantly playing all day across all news channels. 😣 Its just sad how easy it is to manipulate people collectively by misusing the media.
Karishma and Zeeshan did a good job, so did the other characters.
On a side note todays Kuchh Ankahee episode was better, liked Salman better today, got a peek into why Saamya’s husband is the way he is, also Saamya finally showed some sense in todays episode.
